  Conner is a great Muay Thai coach. Classes are nice and controlled. The atmosphere is unmatched & the gym is nice and clean. Highly recommend!

  I joined this BJJ gym about two months ago and it’s been such a great experience so far. When I first started everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming from day one. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted by a wall full of medals won by the coaches and team. It’s clear they’re extremely talented and passionate about what they do. What really stood out to me though is how much they care about everyone training there. Josh recently started an all-women’s course and put a lot of thought into what we’d actually want and need. He also organised a competition to raise money for a member running a charity marathon. The classes are well organised, supportive and inclusive of all levels. The whole gym has a very respectful atmosphere and it’s become such a nice community to be part of. There’s also training available almost every day which makes it really easy to stay consistent if you want to. As for BJJ itself, it’s amazing. Challenging enough to give you confidence and strategic enough to keep you coming back for more. You have been warned!

  This is not just a Jujitsu Gym it’s a welcoming, supportive and inclusive place where people of all ages can come and feel like they belong. The coaches are incredible, patient and committed to training their students in a positive and encouraging way regardless of their age, ability or attitude. The gym itself has a dedicated lounge area and is alway clean and comfortable and a massive bonus! Communication is great and inclusive. My 2 children love it here!

  I’ve been training at SJA Academy for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. The coaches are not only highly skilled but also incredibly supportive and patient, no matter your level. The atmosphere is welcoming, the community is amazing, and every session pushes you to improve both mentally and physically. Whether you’re a complete beginner or more advanced, you’ll find top-quality instruction and great people to roll with. Highly recommend!

  The instructors here are amazing with the kids. They always have so many fun things and charity fundraisers going on. 10/10 would highly recommend starting your Karate journey here.

  Been training at SJA for over a year now, staff and members are all very friendly and always there to help you progress. The program/ syllabus is very well structured. Coaches Tom, Jamie, Andrew and Ethan are outstanding teachers. I would definitely recommend anyone come and have a trial!

  SJA MARTIAL ARTS A family and a team, my boy has gone from strength to strength with learning not only his jujitsu but also learning about self discipline, confidence and respect for others. This has been achieved by the input and dedication and the approach and teaching skills of the instructors, in a relaxed and enjoyable way. He is always excited and happy before and after class and cannot thank them enough.

  I stumbled upon this gym 5 years ago without any martial arts background. The friendly training partners, dedicated coaches, and welcoming atmosphere made me fall in love with jiu jitsu and martial arts. It's a place for everyone, from beginners to experienced competitors, with passionate coaches who truly know their stuff. Highly recommended!
