    My 13 yr old went for the summer and it was the best choice. It’s hard raising a teen alone especially one going through some tough emotional times. The staff and owner always made it feel like I had a village on my side even when things got difficult. Martial arts gave my daughter structure and discipline that’s much needed during this phase. She definitely tested her limits but they handled every situation well.

    We started out in the MAW evening martial art classes. We agreed to the summer camp not realizing what we were getting into. 4 weeks into the MAW summer camp program, there was safety issues arising that were not being addressed or resolved. After three of the really good instructors left the company, there was little to no adult supervision-meaning adults who actually have kids and know the dynamics of raising kids and structuring their minds (red flag). Due to fears of our child's safety (bruising, inappropriate touching from other kids, no adult supervision, questionable certification of child transportation credentials, inappropriate adult to child ratio, lack of structured learning, no workstations or tables, no real outdoor play area except for the back gravel parking lot etc-just ask) we left for a different and more structured summer program. No hard feelings personally, but a terrible business practice and model. MMA baits parents and kids to feel that they are actually climbing the ranks of the martial arts community- unfair and unsafe. MAW is a group of glorified babysitters.

    I absolutely love the Martial Arts World. I love the program. I love how they actually help you lose weight. I've tried other locations like Dong's Karate and Taekwondo, but none of them compare to Martial Arts World. They make you work for everything. I love the discipline for the kids. The staff is wonderful, and a shout-out to the owner. I love hearing from her; she is sweet and really has a passion for Martial Arts World.

    Martial arts world Clover hill is nothing short of amazing. They structured approach to childcare, discipline, and martial arts as a practice are second to none. With a staff that cares for each child individually it’s a trusted place to have children to learn and grow. Their fair and competitive pricing make Martial Arts World an easy choice to pick when looking for after school care or summer camp. I have watched my own children grow and flourish in a phenomenal way with the structured, disciplined, and fun environment. Martial Arts World would be suggested for anyone looking to watch their child grow.

    LOVE Martial Arts World Clover Hill. Jr. Master Cross is amazing and such a wealth of knowledge. My oldest 2 daughters have been students since 2020 and they our now black belts! My husband, my youngest daughter, and I have been students since 2023. MAW Clover Hill is like an extension of our family, could not be happier!

    Excellent work environment, staff has a wealth of knowledge to share with its kids. As a staff, they truly care about the kids as if they were our own. This gives parents the comfort of knowing their children are safe as well as having fun while in their care. As a parent we understand children aren’t always going to have the best listening skills at first, but giving them a little support and discipline usually works and helps improve those skills. They offer outstanding summer camp programs, allowing children to go on weekly field trips to several different locations in the general area. Before/after care is also offered as well as evening classes. My personal experience has been great as my children (3 daughters) have been attending MAW Clover Hill for over 5 years and as a result has made an impact on their social skill development as well as their discipline. I am also happy to report that my beautiful wife also attends evening classes a few times per week. There isn’t another place I would trust more than Martial Arts World Clover Hill to send my sweet daughters to learn the marital craft and discipline.
