Our daughter had a poor experience at Martial Arts World. The classes lacked structure and the faculty smelled like feet. To those who may be interested in joining, be sure to read the fine print in your contract. They require 90 days notice to cancel and refuse to negotiate. On a more personal note when our daughter’s best friend canceled her membership for similar reasons, and left a 1 star review, the owners unashamedly attacked his 10 year old daughter’s character. They claimed she had been uncooperative and nonparticipating, despite her having been awarded the student of the month and asked to be on the demo team. The low moral stance of these actions are despicable.
Posted 12 months agoTHE best place to send your child to fpr before and after school care, as well as summer camp, in the Midlothian/North Chesterfield area. This place is a FAMILY. My daughter has attended for 5 years and has made some of the best friends of her life. And the discipline she's learned from Master Varner and team with her Tae-Kwon-Do has given her a level of confidence all girls her age should have. Nothing but 5 stars for the Varner family.
Posted 1 year agoI have been going there for almost two years now and I absolutely love it. The staff and the people who attend are the nicest people you can meet. The staff are wonderful people and care for everyone who walks through the front door. All around Great and positive energy. I love that place and will always love The Martial Arts World of Chesterfield =)
Posted 6 years agoMy son has been attending the after school program since Kindergarten, and is now in the 6th grade. We have been very happy with their program and have found their staff to be very professional and accommodating.
