  Trained at 4 mma gyms in Leeds, lost interest every time but been at IMA for a year now and can’t believe how much I love training now! The coaches are awesome, their style of teaching amazing but also you can tell they all care that everyone gets it. The people there are sound too, made mates for life and reco the gym to anyone, new to martial arts or hard af looking for a new place to train

  Amazing place to train! I see progress in myself every session. The teachers are brilliant and the community that has been created by IMA is outstanding. I am very grateful to be part of such a supportive and skilled group and would recommend anyone and everyone to give the sport a go at IMA :)

  Quite possibly one of the best gyms in this area, absolutely fantastic coaches, amazing BJJ, unbelievable atmosphere. The kids' class is absolutely incredible. Honestly truthfully I can't say anything else other than just go here and bring your kids here, that is all.

  What an amazing place. Took my son down for a taster session last night and as soon as we walked through the door the staff were so welcoming and really helpful. He really enjoyed himself and everyone who was training with him was so helpful and friendly. He can’t wait to join and learn more from the instructors and other members. Thanks again and I would definitely recommend IMA.

  I’ve been training at IMA Martial Arts for the past 7 months plus, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best martial arts gyms around. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming and coaches who bring decades of experience to every session. What really stands out is the supportive and friendly atmosphere whether you’re a complete beginner or experienced fighter, everyone is encouraged to improve at their own pace. The coaching is consistent, motivating, and genuinely focused on helping every member grow both physically and mentally. The quality of training, professionalism, and community spirit make this gym absolutely worth the time and money. I highly recommend IMA Martial Arts to anyone of any age or skill level looking to train martial arts in a positive and high-level environment.

  I came to IMA from another Gym that I had a really poor experience with. I signed up to IMA the day it opened it's doors last May and I have been on average 3 times a week, every week, since. IMA is NOT the average gym. There is ZERO ego here. Everyone appreciates each other and the atmosphere is inviting, friendly and welcoming to everyone, regardless of experience & background. The Coaches are elite and the most attentive I have ever come across. There is no "Black Belt" ego here. All the Coaches want to see everyone learn and progress and they will ALWAYS roll with anyone, whether it's your first day doing BJJ or you've been doing it for a decade. I have brought and encouraged as many friends as I can to come and try IMA and the majority end up staying. That says it all. In addition to the Tier 1 coaching & mega facilities/training areas, I have made some amazing friendships at IMA and I really encourage you to come and visit so you can have the experience I have had.   IMA is fantastic! The coaching I've recieved from Liam, Josh and Stevie has been first class. IMA has a really friendly atmosphere and if you're interested in coming in for a BJJ or MMA class you'll be welcomed and made to feel like part of the team. I've not tried MMA personally, but the fact that the coaching staff have fought professionally or worked in top tier promotions like UFC or Bellator speaks volumes. If you're looking for a place to train in the Leeds area, this is the one.

  Great place to train at. Been there a few times now everyone there is so welcoming. Great coaches like Liam Josh Steve and if you do have any problems Julia is there to save the day. If you are looking to go a new gym and our near the Leeds area you won’t be disappointed at ima. A
