Started as a shy nervous 5 year old. Now a confident 6 year old. That has learned to introduced himself and made new friends. Something he would have never done before. Just one of the many things that’s helped as well as keeping him focused and less fidgety in a large group setting. He’s enjoying his lessons and always looks forward to going. Great teachers

AEGIS is a fantastic Martial Arts Academy that my son has attended for the past 3 years. It is run by a dedicated and disciplined team who are passionate about all their students development and progression. AEGIS also celebrates student achievement outside of the Academy linking school and club activities with the use of reward stars. Since my son started with the academy his focus has improved as well has his listening skills. Keep up the great work AEGIS.

My son has been coming for just over a year and he loves it. Has really built his confidence in all areas of his life. Instructors are wonderful with the children and explain everything in an age appropriate manner. They are very supportive and communication is first class

We have been attending the academy for 2 years now, both in tots and now family classes with our 2 boys. It's been fantastic to build their confidence and focus and great for fitness and making friends. Would highly recommend, instructor's are first class, very supportive environment.

My granddaughter Sophie attends Leeds East and we have seen so many improvements in her confidence, her discipline, and her general well-being since she started. She now recognises that hard work is worthwhile and reaps rewards, but she also understands that new skills do have to be worked at, and don't just 'happen'. The instructors really bring the best out of her and her classmates, being supportive whilst maintaining high standards. Her younger sister is eager to start as soon as she is old enough, because she sees the way in which Sophie enjoys every session, and the happiness that comes from a successful grading ceremony. All in all, we'll done to Leeds East AEGIS Martial Arts Academy.

Cannot recommend enough for young children, families and adults. The instructors are qualified, knowledgeable and professional - taking time to get to know their students and help them get the best out of their training. The AEGIS martial arts system is designed to improve both the physical and mental. It's not all kicks and punches. It's confidence, self worth, focus, respect...

Everything was running well until I got told our membership was only for one year. I paid £295 and was told my son can take the lessons whenever , at no point were we told it had to be completed in certain time frame!! When I said this I was told it’s in the terms and conditions which I’ve thoroughly gone through and can’t see that anywhere . I would expect if my membership was really coming to an end someone would have had the courtesy to warn us seeing as we still had lots of lessons left not just throw the bomb of we can’t attend any more classes unless we pay another £250!! We have over10 lessons left. My app says we still have 15 they said it’s 10 left , either way it feels like daytime robbery that😡
