Gracie Barra Boise is an incredible gym with a great community. You can tell professor Ray has a passion for teaching. The coaches are all very technical, and are eager to help students learn. The gym is welcoming to drop-ins and new students.

The instruction provided by the black belt and the brown belt instructor was top-notch. Thank you very much! The gym is clean and well-organized, making the environment even more pleasant for training.
Posted 1 year agoAn excellent place to learn Jiu-jitsu, regardless of experience or fitness level. The community is incredibly supportive, the professors and coaches are excellent at what they do. I immediately felt welcomed and supported. I started at GB Boise heavier and less fit than I have ever been. In the 10 months I have been coming to classes, I have made more progress in both areas than I thought possible. If you are unsure where or how to start, come in for a class. You won't be disappointed. I'll be at the Tuesday/Thursday 8-9pm fundamentals class every time for the foreseeable future.
Posted 1 year agoI've been training at GB for 1.5 years and have been throughly impressed with the welcoming culture for beginners & kids, top rate instructors and training, and options to compete at whatever your comfort level. I highly encourage anyone thinking about giving Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a chance to start with Gracie Barra.
