  Wonderful staff, trainers are very patient and great at teaching the children. Very clean, has pads and accommodations for ladies in the bathroom. Very comfortable open space upstairs for you to relax and has wide open window to watch the little ones down below.

  One of the best activities I’ve enrolled in not only for myself but my family as well, no matter the level of experience this gym has a place for you. The professors are not only great people but they are world class professionals. I have 2 of my kids training (4yo and 11yo) as well as my wife and this has brought us closer together as a family having a common ground we all can grow together in.   My husband and I came from Texas where we had trained for a couple years. It’s always nerve wracking trying a new gym and meeting new people but everyone here at Alliance Eagle has been so welcoming and kind. They have classes multiple times a day and women’s classes 3 days a week which wasn’t an option at my previous gym. After 6 months here, we know we made the right the decision. Our jiu jitsu has improved a lot. Gigi, Dani, Lucas, and Luna are all FANTASTIC coaches and human beings. We love it here at Alliance in Eagle.

  This place is great! Friendly and clean. My son has really enjoyed this facility and my husband loves it too. They really take care of you and have huge patience when it comes to teaching the kids. The upstairs sitting room is a comfortable place to watch or bring children not participating.

  We are LOVING BJJ at Alliance Eagle! We have our 4yo and 6yo in classes and they have been learning so much. It has only been about 2 months but i have already noticed better listening, behavior and performance within their individual classes as well as at home! They love professor Luna & professor Lucas and we so grateful for their dedication and commitment to the BJJ practice

  I am forever thankful that my family found Alliance jiujitsu ! My kids have gained confidence , resilience, strength, friendship , and discipline in a short amount of time! They have matured on and off the mat in so many ways! Lead by instructors who are not only world class athletes but great humans and role models .I have also loved learning something new that pushes me mentally and physically.   I frequently drop in when I’m in Boise for board meetings. I love the guys at the morning class. The instructors, facility, and atmosphere is top notch! I go out of my way to come up to Boise a day early so I can get a training session or two in while I am in town.

  Hands down, by far, the best jiu jitsu facility in the valley, arguably in the nation. Master Gigi is an absolute living legend and it is an honor to train under him. The family atmosphere is unrivaled. Upper belts always want to see you succeed and are happy to help you advance. I tried another gym and it wasn't close to the same. Alliance is world class, the best of the best.

  Alliance Jiu Jitsu in Eagle welcomed my daughter and our family with open arms. We transferred from another gym due to scheduling conflicts and I am so grateful we did! The instructors are consistent, knowledgeable, and so amazing with ALL of the kids. The adults that participate in Adult Classes are always on the mat helping. The discipline, structure, attitudes and compassion at Alliance Eagle is phenomenal. We couldn't ask for a better place for our daughter to train!

  World class instructors and a great, friendly atmosphere! There are a lot of schools in the valley, but only one 7th degree coral belt world champion. I have studied martial arts a good chunk of my life and BJJ is the hardest and most rewarding art I have done. Class schedule is huge with three adult classes each day, plus kids and women’s classes. What are you waiting for?

  I've done different kinds of martial arts in the past, and was trained by different caliber of instructors. Alliance has surpassed all of my previous experiences combined. This place has become my 2nd home and the team has become my 2nd family. We moved to Idaho 2 years ago and it was a great opportunity for me to get back into training (after my back injury followed by 12 year break) and to have an activity I can do together with my son. Now, after being there for close to 2 years, my older daughter has also joined "the gang" and my 5yo has started bugging me about signing her up too. And anytime there's any sort of discussion or thought about moving out of the Idaho, for me Alliance is the #1 reason I would NOT want to move anywhere... at least not until I get my black belt :) If you know anything about JiuJitsu, lookup who the main professor (instructor) is and you will be shocked that we got so lucky here in Idaho to have such a caliber of instructor be in our backyard. If you want to learn and grow as jiujiteiro while making quality connections, feeling welcomed, respected, appreciated and valued... look no further. Give it a try and see for yourself!

  Besides being coached by one of the most revered world champions in the sport of Jiujitsu, the family environment is super welcoming and supportive. It’s an amazing place to train for beginners and competitive athletes alike. No other gym in the treasure valley has as many daily classes as Alliance. I feel lucky that my whole family can train there and this gym has become an extension of our home.

Either way, I feel you are VERY lucky to have this gym as an option for BJJ because this place is absolutely incredible!   I can't name off all the ways that bjj has helped my kids in so many different aspects of our everyday life. They've all grown leaps and bounds with their technique. Let me name off just a few things that have improved. Benie had F's at school they're all above a C now. Kami had a very disrespectful attitude and now she recognizes that she's upset and asks for a minute until she can calm down and communicate with me. Anyka was a bit lazy about things now she's doing better about taking the initiative to do things without constantly being prompted. Those may seem like little things, but to me it's huge. Now all 3 of my babies have a way to defend themselves and get away if it's ever needed, especially since bullying is happening more and more. I'm grateful to have found an amazing school with incredible people like Alexandre Paiva Genovesi, David Isaac Cunha Rosadas, Celo Braga, and Lucas! They motivate and encourage the kids every day!

  Professor Alexandre “Gigi” Paiva is one of the top Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructors in the world, and we are fortunate to have him move to Eagle, Idaho. Gigi is a great person and teaches FLAWLESS techniques. Every single class is something new and innovative. Lucas Figueiredo is also one of the instructors (a first degree black belt that started BJJ at 3 years old), and his jiu jitsu is at the highest level. His teaching style is easy to comprehend, and he is always willing to make the positions work for your body type/style. Just try a class and you’ll see!

  It's such an honor to have the opportunity to train with Gigi, Lucas, and David. They are world-class instructors, right here in my neighborhood in Boise. What an amazing opportunity to learn straight from the source. Credentials aside, they are amazing people. I've been treated like a brother since walking through the door on day 1. They are patient showing me techniques, and are very approachable with additional questions I might have. They all have a real passion for Jiu-Jitsu, and it shows through in class. The profound depth of knowledge available is humbling yet exciting. Gigi is such a talented instructor and practitioner. The gym is also very family friendly, and I love that. The gym has a warm vibe, and my family is comfortable here. I look forward to bringing my children here to train jiu jitsu when they are old enough.   It doesn't take a lot of effort to do a search on the owner, Gigi, to see the incredible list of accomplishments he has achieved in the Jiu Jitsu world. Him and the two other instructors, Lucas and David, have only recently joined the Boise BJJ community from Brazil and will take the local caliber of JJ to another level. The first thing you'll notice is their kindness. You'll be greeted like a family member they haven't seen in months. Then during training, you'll see the passion they have for the sport. For first-timers with JJ, you can ensure safety is a priority. The instructors are very patient and will help teach you at your pace. The quality of instruction is unparalleled. You can expect only the highest quality training from these world and national champions. The group of members are all awesome people with great energy and fun to be around and train with. Jiu Jitsu offers a great community feel and you'll be welcomed by everyone. I have been going consistently since the first day they opened and have improved my game tremendously (and so has my 13 yr old daughter!).   Fairly rude, they allow their customers to block streets entering the neighborhood creating unsafe situations for children and pedestrians. A responsible business would take steps to ensure that they do not create such an unsafe
