This place is great! Bill and Michelle are great instructors. My experience with the other students has been fantastic. When rolling with the more experienced belts they have taken time to explain moves, why they worked, why they didn’t work, and how to escape or execute them. Dominion BJJ has a par excellent atmosphere.
Posted 1 year agoI recommend anyone in the Manassas and surrounding area check out this gym. The two owners/instructors are both black belts and compliment each other well. Michelle is a veteran competitor with a ton of medals from the most prestigious competitions in the BJJ world. Coach Bill is one of the most technical and knowledgeable instructors I know in regards to technique, competition, and anything grappling related. They have a large, clean and beautiful facility. They have programs for adults and children along with an excellent muay thai program. Whether you're interested in jiu-jistu for fun, self-defense, exercise or competition, this is the spot for you.
Posted 1 year agoI've been taking my kids (5,13,14) to Dominion BJJ for over a year now and it's great. There are lots of kids and lots of girls in the kids programs as well, so you'll definitely find a comfortable fit for you or your family here. Further, this particular school has the best culture, you aren't just joining a BJJ school, but also a family. You'll be happy here. It's a challenging but positive environment where you and your kids will feel great about earning your promotions, not just getting promoted for attendance and paying the fee. They have one of the only women's only classes with strong attendance in the area as well, led by owner and black belt Michelle Welti. Highly recommend!
Posted 6 years agoThe best teaching they got in northern virginia . Great coaches. If you want your kid to learn martial art, it is a great class. For jujitsu and muy thai kick boxing
