Jason is a great BJJ coach with high level skills to help teach and instruct. We love how well he maintains a respectful atmosphere inside his gym.

A wonderful group of individuals who collectively want to improve their jiujitsu abilities. Highly recommend trying it out. Especially the 530am classes for busy working professionals.
Great place to learn BJJ and make new friends in the process. Very welcoming and lots of great coaches.
I recently visited the area for a wedding and found the best place for jiu jitsu. Jason, Tyler, and George were awesome coaches. They have early morning and night classes. Fits all schedules. Thanks for the great training everyone!
The 30 day free trial for these classes really give your child a fair chance to evaluate how they feel about about it. It is a big reason we decided to sign up for classes, now my son has been going for about 8 months and his gains are significant, all his practice is paying off and we are so thankful we are so close to this class. He loves it and we are so impressed with the high quality, professional classes.
Battlefield Jiu Jitsu is an exceptional school with a world class training program. One of the best decisions that I have made as a parent is enrolling my children at Battlefield Jiu Jitsu two years ago. Coach Jason as well as his coaching staff are excellent at teaching school age children and challenging them to be their best. The class incorporates the right amount of structure, discipline, physical fitness, and fun. There is always a good number of coaches on the mats so that each child can receive additional personalized guidance. Students are evaluated individually and promoted accordingly you won’t get an eleven-year black belt here everything is earned not given. In addition to the awesome training environment the coaches are amazing human beings. Battlefield Jiu Jitsu has fundraisers and donates to charitable causes. The annual Christmas party is something that all the students look forward to every year. Battlefield Jiu Jitsu personifies the essence of martial arts and it shows in the coaching staff all the way down to the lowest belt student. If you are considering enrolling yourself or your children in a martial arts program look no further……… get down here and talk to coach Jason and start your 30-day trial ASAP.
I did jiu-jitsu on and off when I was younger and had to stop due to injury. After several years not training, I wanted to return to the mats, but had since moved to a new area and needed to find a new academy. Discovering that Battlefield offered a free 30-day trial I thought this would be a great place to start to see if my body had healed enough that I could actually train again. I expected that I would try other gyms out after my 30-day trial ended, but I never did (I had been a member at a number of gyms over the years and I knew a good place when I saw one). I have now been there for several years and am a purple belt under Professor Jason. It is an extremely friendly and welcoming place if you are new to jiu-jitsu or just new to the area and looking for a new academy to call home.
My son has been training with Professor Jason for about a year and a half. His instructors are highly skilled and patient teachers. They care for the children and foster a family environment where safety is the highest priority. Not only have I seen my son grow his jiu jitsu skills, but he is becoming a better young man thanks to this school. If anyone is looking for a jiu jitsu school for themselves or their child, I highly recommend Battlefield Jiu Jitsu and Professor Jason.
I was only able to visit once but the atmosphere was welcoming and the instruction was excellent.
If you are considering learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or self defense I recommend Battlefield BJJ. Professor Jason has a great teaching method that is easy to follow and has enough experience to answer any questions you might have. Even political ones! Well, he might not offer those. The benefits I’ve gathered from starting this new adventure include a healthier lifestyle, a change of mindset to favor perseverance, and a new Battlefield family!
Adults and children classes taught by amazing and knowledgeable Jiujitsu instructors. Jason, Matt and Keith all have a variety of experience and patience. I appreciate the time they take with the kids. Everyone benefits from joining this family, and that is just how they make you feel too. :-) You aren’t just joining a class, you are becoming family.
Amazing coach with a deep and varied Grappling background Gi and NoGi. Judo and wresting takedowns practiced here. Very warm team environment, great for families with a a robust kids team. Even good for old guys! Highly recommended!
I have been at Battlefield Jiu Jitsu for almost a year now and wanted to share my positive experience. Coach Doucette is the real deal and a great instructor. He has created a school that is centered on the family. My son and daughter love the kids classes and can't wait to go. That said, if you are a competitor, Couch Doucette and his instructors have a lifetime of competing experience. There is truly something for everyone. So if you are just looking for something to do to keep you in shape that will not bore you to tears or if you are looking for legit self-defense. This is the place. I cannot recommend it enough. 5 stars without question.
My son attended this school for almost 2 years there. Today was the promotional day. On promotion day, they call him by my husband’s name. When we were there for the first time they registered under my husband’s name. My husband reminded several times to the office manager to change his name. This is the second time the same situation happened today. Since they didn't change on their system his name. How on promotion day do you call a child with his dad’s name? How you can give the young generation aspiration, just a little small thing you can't change. I think it's all business, they wouldn't care about the child's feelings when on promotion day everybody looks at him and worst experience and destroyed kids confidence and self-esteem.
