Great gym with lots of gi classes and multiple black belts, lots of competitors too. Really good and positive atmosphere for a gym, has a shower and weight room, plenty of parking, and a sister gym to train at.
Incredible place to train. I moved here from NC, already a black belt. I’ve been training here for about 3 months and can confidently say that you will grow and improve no matter what level you start at. They bring multiple high-level, knowledgeable instructors to the table, along with an incredible growth-fueled environment filled with fun, kind, and genuine people. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Awesome group of trainers and training partners of all levels. Coach Morrison is super great and super supportive of people of all levels. Probably best gym in Denver - and highly recommend people check out themselves.
Loved my time at Kompound. Wish I could have stayed in Denver for longer. My girlfriend and I are beginners and very new to BJJ. We did free trials at other BJJ locations but immediately felt welcomed at Kompound. It was a friendly environment. Everyone was really patient and understanding
I stopped in tonight to do a drop in and check out this gym. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back again soon. Update: 4/22/24. I have been going here now for about a year and a half. These are a great group of guys that are very knowledgeable and more than willing to show you and teach you the art of jiu jitsu. I really enjoy this place and have learned a lot.
Extremely kind, fun and helpful! Every instructor is fantastic help with visual and physical techniques. They create a very open safe environment.

I came into this place as a guy late in his 30’s that smokes a pack of cigarettes a day and drinks. A few years later I’m still doing those things but I can grapple thanks to the coaches at Kompound . Come get some on the black seas.
I visited Denver while on a work training event. I normally train BJJ out of state and decided to show up to train in the evening. The training was fantastic! The instructors were very professional and quickly identified where I was at in my training as a blue belt. They gave me some techniques to work on according to my current skill set. The atmosphere was so inviting. I felt excepted in the first 5 minutes. I would recommend training BJJ at Kompound if you are in Denver!!!
Very great place to train. I was welcomed by everyone as if it were my gym. And great lesson on the kneebar and over under pass(my favorite attacks)was taught. I learn a lot of great concepts and I felt at home. If you are in Denver check this team out!!
Thank you Professors Morrison, Zach, Justin, Santa, Rodney, Robert, and Mike for all you do. I am incredibly grateful for your guidance and camaraderie. I have been training here since November 2022. In the 7 months I have been here I have learned so much from the diverse team of Professors and coaches. There seems to be someone of every body type and experience level here which offers me the opportunity to hone my skills against a wide array of opponents which has prepared me for anything that my come my way. This is a competition school, but we treat our training partners with care. It is a strong belief that we cannot "Win" practice. Upper belts ensure the ability for newer students to work the material and learn safely.
Kompound Training Center is best described as a world class martial arts gym, and has introduced me to a much deeper understanding of Jiu Jistu, and I’ve become a stronger individual both mentally and physically because of the incredible encouragement and challenge this establishment offers. From the coaches and teammates being supportive, enthusiastic, uplifting, knowledgeable, and humorous, to the facility being clean, organized, full of soul and great equipment, words could not do justice to the quality of experiences with which this gym will enrich your life. 11/10, A++, I’ve trained here for nearly 3 years now, they also offer the best quality coaching for Muay Thai/kickboxing as well, location in Centennial, too. I've been cross training with the guys from this Kompound since I moved to Colorado in late 2019. The gym is welcoming, friendly, and the students are technical and scrappy, too. They go hard without hurting each other. 10AM on Sundays, open mat, come get some!
I dropped in for a BJJ class while I was in Denver. Coach Morrison was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging. Everyone was welcoming and kind. I’m very much looking forward to the next time I’ll be in Denver so I can stop by again. Additionally, the gym was clean and well equipped. I definitely recommend this gym!
I've been training her for almost 3 years. I've stayed for the welcoming environment and top shelf coaching. There are classes for everyone, whether you just want a new hobby and some exercise, or if you want to train hard and compete. We have an excellent competition team.

This is hands down the best BJJ gym I have been to. I was only able to train here for a short time due to family illness but in that time it was an amazing experience. Coach Morrison was so welcoming and made sure that everyone felt like part of the family. He is extremely knowledgeable and highly adept and explaining the complexities of the class for new people. Everyone that attends the gym is excited to learn, train hard and share their knowledge. If you are looking for a great place to learn new skills while getting a great workout The Kompound Training Center Denver is your place!

This is a great place to train. I have only done bjj here so i cant speak for muay thai but the bjj here is solid. Im a blue belt and have trained for over 3 years at various gyms and this is a great one to be at. Jeremiah is the main instructor for this location and he is one of the most well versed brown belts in this state. He will stay after class to help you with whatever crazy technique you want to learn and if he doesnt know it he will try to learn it to help you with your journey. Tuesday night positional training with Mike is a great way to prepare for competition. Im glad i found this gym and its instructors to take my game to the next level
