This Jiu-Jitsu is top notch. Manny is very acknowledged and takes his time to make sure everyone is learning there is no rush with him. Everyone there is very friend and treats you like family. I would recommend shōgun to everyone from first timers to top black belt.

Manny brings the "why" of Jiu Jitsu to the forefront, pairing deep conceptual understanding with the ability to teach technique masterfully. He excels at evaluating each practitioner's execution to refine and optimize their application of technique. In partnership with Marcelo Garcia and his curriculum, this approach creates a foundational approach for developing a complete BJJ player.

I have been friends and training partners with Manny, the owner of Shogun, for years and I can honestly say he’s one of the best coaches out there. His technique is top-tier, and he has a gift for breaking things down in a way that makes sense no matter your skill level. Whether you’re brand new to jiu jitsu or have been training for years, Manny creates an environment that’s welcoming, challenging, and supportive. Highly recommend dropping in and experiencing it for yourself.

As a 3-time world champion, I can confidently say Shogun Jiu Jitsu is an incredible gym! The techniques taught here are top-notch, and the owners are fantastic—welcoming and highly knowledgeable. The facility is clean, safe, and creates a perfect environment for training. The workouts are intense and effective, easily the best I’ve ever experienced. The warmups are a highlight, setting the tone for an amazing session. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to train jiu-jitsu!
