From the moment my family and I walked into this martial arts studio, we felt right at home. It's an outstanding place for both kids and adults. My 5-year-old daughter recently started taking classes here, and she absolutely adores it. Adam Barrett is not only a master of his craft but also an incredible teacher who connects so well with the kids. She's learning so much and having a blast while doing it. As for me, I've been part of the adult BJJ class for over a year now, and I can honestly say it's changed my life. I joined during a tough time when I was struggling with alcohol and had just stopped drinking. The motivation, energy, and overall drive that these classes have given me are nothing short of a game changer. I'm now in the best shape of my life, can carry my kids on my shoulders, and I'm gaining the skills to protect myself and my family. The community here is fantastic—everyone is respectful and comes from diverse backgrounds. We've met some truly fascinating people and made great friends along the way. Plus, Adam is an amazing guy and so easy to get along with. I usually give places 4 stars because it's better for Google's algorithm, but this place deserves more than 5 stars. If you're thinking about learning martial arts, look no further. Come check it out—you'll be glad you did!

This is a no-nonsense place to learn how to fight. Coach Adam is an accomplished TKD competitor, BJJ black belt, and MMA Cage-Wars champion. He has ample experience working with full spectrum of students from children to police officers. Classes are well-rounded, with technique and strength and sparring/rolling time nicely balanced, and there are enough times for both adults and kids. The atmosphere is always positive and respectful, you can both “catch the bug” for martial arts here and continue growing for long while.

Really conveniently located on route 9 in Clifton park. The head instructor Adam has a big heart and a robust background in Martial Arts. Great for adults and kids.

Excellent teacher, very good at teaching kids to build solid techniques and life principles. My kids has been studied several years and we’re very happy on kids’ progress.
