First time on the mats here, and what a great experience. Super friendly folks with a wicked welcoming atmosphere. There’s a little something for everyone… the newbies and the long timers, and I really appreciated the class. Highly recommend!
Been going to Clifton Park jucao for a little over 2 years now and I can confidently say it is one of the best decisions I have made in life. The people there are truly some of the most nice and kind hearted people ever, who I can proudly call friends.
Coach Nash is someone who makes it fun and exciting to walk through those doors. He is inviting and only wants you to get better and truly makes you appreciate and love jiu jitsu.
Lastly, I know how difficult it can be to want to sign up, trust me. At first I had cold feet, stepping onto a mat where I didn’t know anyone and didn’t know anything. I quickly realized that everyone there wants the best for you and will welcome you with open arms.

Coach Nash is the real deal, takes the time to put together a well thought out curriculum. Clifton Park Jucao location is perfect place to train for all levels. Friendly vibe and everyone there has become family. Overall no ego and in totality, all are there to have fun and help you get better. Highly recommend this place.

As a female entering a predominately male influenced space/sport I can confidently say I felt accepted, respected and appreciated by all individuals. The space continues to grow into a home for any individual who walks through that door and is willing to learn. I would recommend anyone to join scaling from adolescence to late adulthood.

Love Clifton park jucao. Started going to the girls classes and it made a world of a difference for training and learning for me. I think everyone should try bjj or martial arts a couple times. Love the trainers and trainees 🙏🏼
I enrolled my son at JUCAO @ Clifton Park about 7 months ago, and it was the best decision I could have made. If you want to give your sons and daughters a gift that will be with them for a lifetime, enroll them in Jiu Jitsu now. I have seen other martials arts instill a false sense of confidence in children, and I can assure you Jiujitsu is real skill, grit, and strength.
I was more nervous than my son when we first walked in the door. All I can say is trust the process, and go in knowing that Jiu Jitsu is hard, but over time you will see noticeable gains in your child’s skills and confidence.
Enrolling my son in Jiu Jitsu @ JUCAO has been more than him just developing lifelong skills and confidence, but it has also built a strong sense of community with the coaches, parents and other students. I am a parent with zero regrets about this decision, and I highly recommend this school.
Going to a new gym can be a nerve-wracking experience, but you will immediately feel welcomed by the coaches and teammates at Team Jucao Clifton Park. At this gym, you will learn techniques in a clean and supportive environment. Coaches take the time to breakdown moves for you and provide encouragement to push yourself. I have been a member for almost 2 years and can speak to the health benefits as well as the great friendships I have made.

Incredible gym. I’ve been here over two years, no background in martial arts, late 30’s, but interested in learning. The training, coaching and community at team Jucao is second none. I’m in the best shape of my life now, possess skills I never thought possible, and walk out of every class satisfied and better than when I entered. My children come to the kids class, it’s not only good for our relationship but they have quickly developed an enthusiasm to train. I can’t say enough good things. Competent, consistent and passionate leadership. Amazing new friends and a safe environment for all people, men, woman, kids and all body types to learn and develop. Seriously, give it a shot. Team Jucao has been an excellent place to train. I had no experience when I started and the instructors were very knowledgable and friendly. Nels, Nash, and the rest of the Clifton Park team are very welcoming to new students!
Great place to learn and make meaningful friendships. This school has phenomenal instruction from accomplished and caring professors and coaches whose support to their students extends beyond the mats.
I've been hitting the mats at this gym for close to two years now. The people are amazing and the coaching is top-notch. What I love most is the mix of folks here. You've got newbies diving into the sport for the first time and seasoned warriors perfecting their craft. It creates this awesome energy that's perfect for anyone, whether you're just starting out or you've got a few stripes on your belt.
This gym is my second home, my happy place. I can't imagine training anywhere else.
This place has a very inviting culture for adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kids class are such a great place for kids to learn self defense and make new friendships
