We knew we wanted to have our child learn a martial art. After doing research and asking around, Champions Martial Arts was the place to be. A relative highly recommended the Freeport location. Master John is amazing. He engages, encourages and motivates the students to do well. He is quick to notice when they need help and commends them when they do great. When tough love is necessary he knows how to deliver it. Mrs. Ann Marie is also excellent making sure parents are aware of all events and changes. If you are thinking about your child learn taekwondo, this is the place to be. You will be nothing short of impressed on how you child develops!
This is one of the best places to go and and send your child to for holistic trainning. The staff is very kind . The teacher gives tough and valuable trainning for real life self defense. The children also learn life applicable discipline.

Mr. John and staff are great. My son has autism and his training has help with his attention issues and body control (motor skills, balanace). They are very patience!

Master Chun is an amazing Tae Kwon Do instructor. I have two children in his program and they both love it. They learn about taking pride in their accomplishments by working had and never giving up. We are so lucky to have found him.
I am the grandmother of one of the students here who is now 10. It's a great place for kids. Mister John is so dedicated to making the kids the best they can be and the children seem to enjoy it. The instruction is just excellent!
My child is attending this tkd school and now she has more confidence in herself. The master is amazing and teaches my daughter really well. My kid is now heading to green tip belt. You should really get your child into it, it builds up their confident.
Master Chun is awesome with children of all ages. He not only teaches Taekwondo technique, he instills discipline and respect as a foundation for life.
Since my son is in taekwondo. He is been improved a lot in school and behavior. He loves to go to taekwondo. Master Chan teach him not to give up and keep trying and his teacher at school is very proud of my son because my son has learning disabilities and he is trying hard in his studies. Freeport Taekwondo has been such a great experience for me. Ever since my first class, I couldn't wait for my next one. I learned so much. It teached me much discipline and built up my confidence. Also, to always try my best no matter what. Master Chun is very friendly, inspirational and just an amazing teacher. I love this program and would highly recommend it.
