Great place with a great group of guys. Tengo is a great teacher and coach. I went into the gym not knowing ANYONE. A never once did I feel like an outcast. I moved out east and had a kid and haven’t had a chance to be around for a while but there isn’t a day goes by that I don’t think about what the boys down at Mutant are up to!! I Was there atleast 3 times a week for about a year and went from not knowing how to throw a punch, to feeling very comfortable on my feet or on the mat. One of the best decisions I made was walking into Mutant. You won’t regret it either. I will be addicting to wanting to learn more striking and grappling for the rest of my life.

Whether you are looking for an after school activity for your kids, looking to improve upon your personal fitness, or looking to test yourself in competition, Mutant can serve all needs. Tengo is a fantastic coach with true knowledge and passion for the sport. As mentioned before, there are kids classes, but there is also regular adult classes as well as a fight team, so regardless of your needs, you can find a home at Mutant. If you're nervous about attending an MMA gym for the first time, don't be. Mutant is very welcoming and there are no competing ego's, everyone in the room is there to be a better version of themselves, so if you are a hobbyist, you wont have to worry about someone going to hard while training, everyone is very humble and accommodating!

I have been going to Mutant MMA to train in their kickboxing/jiu jitsu classes for the past year. Not only are they the best workout I have experienced, but they also are able to instruct members of all skill levels. My son has been going to the kids classes for about 6 months and every day after school he is chomping at the bit to get over to Mutant and practice. The environment is great and the family of members helps foster great learning opportunities, i cannot recommend the gym more!

Mutant MMA is not just an amazing MMA gym, it’s an experience. From the owners, to the trainers, and even the other members, you can feel the passion that everyone exudes for YOUR health, fitness, and wellbeing. The place is clean, extremely spacious, and very well equipped. Just bring a great attitude and willingness to learn, and you’ll be making progress from day one. Personally, I have been a member for just a few months, and every time I come to train (2-3 times per week), I leave feeling both exhausted and accomplished. Highly recommend!!
