We have been members since October and yesterday my son was able to participate in the promotion test. Sensei Adel truly cares for his students and pushes them to do their best. We are not only happy with our son’s progress but happy that he has a strong role model to motivate him! My son looks forward to his karate days with both Sensei Adel and Sensei Papa, both are incredible with the younger ones. Highly recommend for your little ones!
My son started the mommy and me program when he was 2 years old and it was fantastic. He had such a great time. Now, he is 3 years old and now he can be part of the clases with older kids and he loves it so much! They are very good and have been VERY patient with my son and have taught him a lot. They are very good, very friendly and make each child feel special. Thank you Adel and sensei papa for all you guys do for my son!

Look no further! This is the place where you want to take Karate Classes. Adel is a world class champion. My boyfriend studied with Adel in the 90's and is a black belt. Also, a 90 year old woman took classes with Adel in my boyfriend 's class and ended up becoming a black belt. This is why I decided to pick this school for my Karate lessons. My Sensei Papa has won karate tournaments internationally and is incredibly supportive and will push you to do your best; but sees your limits and keeps you safe. I have not taken any other classes with any other Senseis because of my work schedule; but I hear Sensei Steve is very strong with teaching fighting skills.The kids learn about focusing, discipline, exercising, self- confidence and self-defense at this school. As for adults, which I am, I am learning self-defense , self- confidence and getting in great shape. I have lost 15 pounds already in 3 months. You don't want to go to just any Karate school just as you wouldn't go to any doctor out of a phone book. Make this your correct and best choice. Look forward to seeing you soon.
Sensei Adel and always provides a fun, disciplined and positive atmosphere for the little ones. We are impressed by his dedication and patient with the little ninjas. Awesome place!
Love this place!! My son been attending to Adel's martial art academy for 8 months now. I see my son improving on his moves, n learning discipline with the class! The instructors r awsome too... very patient with the little ones, n skilled! The most important thing is, my son loves it too! It's like a big family at Adels! Highly recommended!!!
This dojo is the best I’ve been to. I have been training in shotokan karate since kindergarten and have been to other dojos. Having a foundation in shotokan, this dojo has helped me perfect my form in kata and Kumité. Adel’s feels like home to me and I especially like the one on one help from Sensei Adel to work on my strength and agility. It’s really helped my overall skills I’ve learned over the years in karate. The one on one training helps me in my other sports as well as karate. This dojo is bigger than karate, it’s the entire package.
The program is amazing. The instructors are caring. The classes are offered daily so you are not locked into a day. They also encourage the children to advance to the next level with wonderful motivating ceremonies.

My six year old son has been going to Adel’s dojo for the last year twice a week. He has become more focused and shows more confidence. The teachers are fantastic.
My 3yo boys have been attending classes at Adel's dojo for 3 months so far, 4-6 times a week with an unlimited plan. They were both initially hesitant with it being the first organized sport/activity, but my husband and I are thrilled with the progress made once they warmed up. They have learned many karate skills, but beyond that have improved with listening, focus, discipline and confidence. I also overhear them counting to 10 in Japanese now! The Senseis are very talented, patient, and encouraging. We have had a great experience so far and definitely recommend!
My son has been learning at this studio for almost a year and a half and we recently celebrated his 6th birthday party here. We have been happy with his progress and how the different Senseis do seem to get to know each of the students. We hope to continue to learn and grow at this studio. Additionally, my son really enjoyed his birthday celebration.
I had been with this karate school for some time and stepping into that dojo is like stepping into my 2nd home. The instructors are absolutely great, they really try to bring out the best in you and I really look up to them. Since joining this dojo, I have made a bunch of friends here and I couldn’t be more grateful to know such a wonderful group of people.
My son just returned to karate after trying it years ago. When he said he wanted to try again I asked him if he wanted to go speak to Sensei Adel. He replied where else would I go? Yes Mom I want to go speak to him. During the time he left and came back Sensei Adel still checked in with me from time to time to see how he was doing. When my son came back Sensei Adel welcomed him back with a big smile. Sensei Adel as well as the other Sensei there are amazing teachers. Their patience and respect to the students is amazing. As a mom it was no question where I was going to have my son go to learn this art when he was ready to go back. I would highly recommend Adel for anyone who is looking for a teacher to learn all aspects of karate.
My son has joined Adel International Karate six months ago and he absolutely loves it. The teachers are very patient and great. It is a very warm and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their here.
Karate Adel My son joined Adel and his staff in Oceanside in 2014. He currently attends two times per week and never misses a class. Adel and his staff welcomed him to the dojo and continue to support him and his learning style. He is a successful Brown Belt and is confident physically and emotionally. Adel's structured and friendly environment teaches respect, kindness and physical and emotional fitness. Big thumbs up to our Karate family! All the instructors are highly qualified, knowledgeable and nice . My children loved attending classes and watching them grow, become stronger and more disciplined inspired me to take adult classes and fitness classes. I love taking classes at Adel's karate school and the sense of family and community it brings.
Excellent karate school! All levels welcome, convenient flexible schedule, and fitness classes offered as well. All instructors are knowledgeable and professional while maintaining a friendly atmosphere and the owner will treat you like family. I have been bringing my son here for years and he loves it. I am very happy with both the children's and adult classes.
I began taking karate here over 5 years ago. I began with a family class--my wife and our two children (then ages 4 and 7). We are all still currently active in the dojo. The instruction here is top notch. Each instructor is a master in multiple areas--sport fighting, kata, bunkai, self-defense, even in traditional weapons training. We have had guest teachers of the highest quality from all over the world and local to add to the depth of budo that is available. Whether you are new to karate or a seasoned veteran, there is something worthwhile for you here. I started at 50 years of age and have not looked back--my daughter started at 3 1/2 and is still working at the discipline!
Having been involved in the Japanese Martial arts since 1972, I can say without hesitation that the quality of instruction; on all levels, is one of the best I have seen in many decades. The various Sensei bring a multitude of experiences, including years of instruction and depth of knowledge. Additionally I enjoy how the various teachers emphasize the true ele of ments of BUDO. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner operator of the school, couple of years ago. He is a dedicated teacher and a man of integrity.
I have been bringing my son to Adel's karate for years. He always helped him in many ways.My son always gets mad when he misses a class. I trust Adel with my kid. I also trusted his instructor with my son. I will give him 5 stars for teaching my son to respect others and to use use the training he gives him when it's really needed.
My daughter loves going to classes here. Classes are available 7 days a week which is very convenient.
Sensei Adel is one of the best when it comes to teaching Karate. I have been going to his school since I was 5 years old. I learned self discipline from these classes and it has helped me tremendously in my professional career. I have also started taking my 4 year old daughter to classes for the past year. She loves the classes just as much as I do and has improved quite a bit when it comes to listening to directions both at the school and at home.
Clean organized repetition driven learning
I don’t recommend this place, we signed our 3 year old son up in July and the schedule was never right. We never were able to make it to a full class for him. It was either in the middle of a class or an older class going on. For a karate school there should be some type of ORGANIZATION. The owner refused to cancel our monthly payments until our son gave it another try. My son does not want to try anymore and I will not force him to. We paid for 3 months and every time I call they would not cancel. It’s unprofessional and unorganized.
