Amazing! A wonderful place for kids to become well rounded, confident and focused as well as excel in a skill. I didn't want my son to be in a fiercely competitive studio but CMA balances teachings of excellence within a nurturing environment.
Beyond being a welcoming system for newer / younger martial artists, CMA is also a great place to train for experienced / adult martial artists. SBN Pattison is an expert martial artist with deep experience in multiple styles and knows how to teach and inspire. The CMA (and the larger Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan) community enjoys a strong group of experienced Black Belt + members who support each other to continually grow and improve. As someone who has trained, competed & taught for 20+ years, I highly recommend CMA!

We love Master Pattison & CMA! My kids have been training with Master Pattison for 2 years, starting with the after-school enrichment & now also at the studio. They really enjoy it & have learned forms & self-defense, but their training has also expanded on the life lessons of tradition, respect, leadership & self-control.
Our kids have been training with Master Pattison since preschool. He is the mentor and the friend that you wish you had growing up. He is as sensitive as he is tough. Your children will love him and respect him like mine!!
