Full Transparency - my husband trains at this gym and helps out with the kids class. John, the owner, has put a significant amount of time and effort into transforming this gym into the best in the Indy area! He is well respected in the sport and his extensive knowledge shines through. My 9- and 7-year olds LOVE the Little Samurai kids class! It’s The place to learn self-defense and discipline. I appreciate that John leads the kids class with kindness and authority keeping them focused on the lesson. Looking forward to seeing how the Bushido principles are threaded into the lessons!
Posted 1 year agoI had an amazing time with John! He went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home at BJJ and the experience was exceptional. John was extremely knowledgeable and made me excited to continue with Jiu Jitsu! If you’re looking for a place to start or grow this is it.
Posted 1 year agoamazing gym, phenomenal envirnment to train in. Everyone is super nice and is there to work hard and get better. Coaches are the best. Every day of training is hard work and geared towards helping you build a better jui jitsu skill set, cannot recommend this gym enough.
Posted 1 year agoThis is the place to train. They are super welcoming and do a fantastic job. Tons of class times and the program is great. The instructor is fantastic and breaking things down so everyone understands. It is fun and challenging! If you want to train jiu jitsu or get in shape. This is the best place!
Posted 1 year agoExcellent spot to train. I'm travelling for work and stumbled across Bushido via Google. Couldn't be happier with the experience. The owners are gracious about drop-ins and temporary training. All the instruction is top notch. The members are welcoming, skilled and give competitive rolls. The vibe is exactly what I look for in a grappling gym; laid back but serious where it counts. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality BJJ in the Zionsville area.
