Built by Brunson is an elite youth wrestling club in Lake County, IL. We welcome athletes of all ages and skill levels offering training for IESA, IKWF, IHSA, Freestyle, and Greco wrestling. Athletes will learn wrestling fundamentals while developing athleticism and confidence on and off the mat.

My son recently became a member of the Built By Brunson wrestling club, and he has already made remarkable progress. In his debut club tournament, he secured 1st place in his weight class, a testament to the exceptional training and guidance he has received at the club. My son has finally found a wrestling club where he belongs! Highly recommend Built By Brunson!! A+++!

Zach and the other coaches are great. My son has been wrestling Built By Brunson for three years now. We would recommend built by Brunson to anyone! Best wrestling club in the Chicago land area whether you're a new wrestler or an elite athlete.

When my son told me he wanted to wrestle I was iffy about the idea due to the stereotypes of overly competitive and toxic culture I was told about. Build by Brunson wrestling has changed that perception for me, and I could not be more proud about the man my son is becoming. Not once have I heard of coaches being disrespectful to kids or parents and I would not send my kid anywhere else. He has grown in areas outside of wrestling, such as confidence, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with others. He loves it, and we are happy that he chose wrestling as a hobby, to dedicate his teenage years to.

What a fantastic gym! Coach Brunson and Coach Nikita are tireless in their effort to give the best instruction and experience to all the wrestlers who walk in those doors. These guys live and breath wrestling and offer everything an athlete would want in an elite wrestling club. They offer daily instruction, seminars, camps, privates, and a great environment to train in.

My son joined BBB less than a year ago. In this short time, my son went from liking the sport to falling in love with the sport. Coach Brunson and Coach Nikita are great technicians that can relate to the kids. We tried several other clubs prior to joining Built By Brunson, after the firs day, my son knew this was the club for him. Kids are not left behind or made feel as if they don't belong. There is are different classes based on skill level and age, as well as private lessons. I can speak volumes about the improvement I have seen in my son as a wrestler, but the biggest change I have seen is his self confidence and the way he carries himself.

Coach Brunson and Nikita are amazing coaches they run a great wrestling program. My son has been going to Built By Brunson for one year and I’ve seen growth & improvement. They have a great environment at the facility and coach with integrity. Wrestling is their passion, give them a try!!

Coach Brunson is very easy to communicate with he has a great staff, great environment, everyone is motivated and very much wants to be there. This was the perfect place for my son to learn and grow all year. My son is very happy to be a part of this club.

Zach does great work with the kids and has a focus on preparing them for the highest level of competition. Our son looks forward to every chance he has to get on the mats and we love seeing him excited for such a great sport! Outstanding club!

This club has a proven track record. The number of All-State wrestlers that train at this club speaks volumes! From what I have seen, coaches work great with all ages. I wouldn't want my boys, or daughter, to be anywhere else!

Zach Brunson and his coaching staff have built a tremendous program! From beginner wrestlers to collegiate, Zach and his team will help your kids develop the skills to make them successful on the Mat and in other areas of their lives. I have been involved in wrestling for over 35 years as a collegiate competitor to a coach at multiple levels, and I couldn't be happier with the experience and the community Brunson has created. Also, if you are looking for a wrestling room that is going to push your wrestler, this is it. Some of the top High School, middle school, and IKWF talent train at Brunson.

Zach has taught my boys so much over the years. He has made them better wrestlers and more important better young men. My younger started wrestling in 7th grade with no experience and Zach made him feel very comfortable. Highly recommended.
