    I enrolled my two sons in a martial arts program at NSA Martial Arts Company two years ago, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel welcome and answered our questions. The instructors are highly skilled and passionate about teaching martial arts. They have created a positive and encouraging environment that motivates my sons to give their best effort in every class. I would also like to mention that Sensei Alex has played a significant role in my son's personal development. His dedication, knowledge, and passion for martial arts are truly inspiring. He goes above and beyond to ensure each student feels valued and supported. Sensei Alex takes the time to understand each child's strengths and areas for improvement, tailoring his teaching approach accordingly. He instills essential values such as respect, discipline, and perseverance in my sons, which extend beyond the martial arts class. Sensei Alex's guidance has positively impacted their self-esteem and overall character development. We are grateful to have him as a mentor for our children at NSA Martial Arts.     Our daughter has been a student at NSAMA for a number of years now. It has helped her gain confidence and physical ability immensely. The advanced classes get into stick fighting and weapons training. It is hard work, but the kids love class here and teaches them self defense. They often have free trials for a few days.

    On a trip passing through Illinois from Butte, Montana I was lucky enough to be able to train one night with NAMA…Elite skill level AND elite level of teaching skills as well . Guru Mark Halek taught the Kali class I attended and I was super impressed !!

    My daughter started at Northshore when she was 6. I absolutely love that multiple styles are taught to make sure she has a diverse skillset. The instructors are great and teach for real world, practical situations both physically and mentally. There's always additional events as well that are enjoyed. Highly recommend!

    Great place for both beginners and experienced combat practitioners. They offer a good variety of classes for adults and kids in a large, well-outfitted facility. The first time I walked in the school I knew I had found a place with the right balance of focus and friendliness. I felt at home right away. The right attitude is everything and they have it!
