Great school, diverse curriculum, awesome staff, wonderful atmosphere.
Posted 10 months agoGreat culture of practicioners, classes available for different age groups in the family. Offered are complimentary styles of Kenpo, BJJ, Muay Thai, and lesser known but growing FMA. Dedicated knowledgeable instructors and advanced students, some of whom have utilized their skill sets in real-world application.
The Best, you can’t ask for a better group of instructors. Both of my kids learned a lot from BMAA. It has made them more confident and improved their day to day accountability. We can’t thank Vince enough for the years of training in the karate and jujitsu programs.
Loved the experience my kids have had in the "little dragons" class. The teachers are simply wonderful.
We have been going to this place for over 4 years and it's just getting more and more addictive - we have now 3 family members attending their classes 😊 and they truly enjoy it! I don't think places like this should be judged only by customer service - but more by the teaching style. You can have great customer service and bad trainers. This place is like a second family to us!
Trained for years at BMAA, from back when it was Elite. Kru Dustin is a fantastic trainer and if you show up and put in the work he will push you to be better every time you step on the mats. I also can't say enough about the atmosphere of the gym and how supportive everyone is. I have been away for a bit due to work, but if/when my schedule allows I would return immediately.
My daughter Nahla has been coming here for almost two years. When she first started we would do mitts at home and she did okay. However after a year or so of training, her punches were on point, and her form had dramatically improved. Her confidence has also reached a new high, definately recommend trying one of their free classes.
Have been training here for years. Can't ask for a better school. I bring 2 kids to class all year and they love it.
Great place to train. Good people, large space, good instruction.
Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. This gym has very positive and friendly environment to learn the marshal art.
Great place to learn Jiu JItsu for self defense. Great environment, friendly staff and well thought out curriculum. Very family oriented environment. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Professor Mark and his team are great teachers on all levels and they make sure you understand before moving on.
I'm revising this for the third time. We were part of the Elite bjj and alternate between Redmond and here. Now we are just coming to the BMAA. While there was some inconsistency during the ownership and leadership change it seems things are settling down and coaches are focused on the coaching and kids are enjoying the training. Couch Vincent is awesome. Hopefully things keep on getting better and better.
Training is outstanding, instructors are great teachers, and students are very friendly
I have been training with Instructor Vince for the past 18 years. He is a great instructor in Kempo Karate, Filipino Martial Arts, BJJ and Muay Thai .
Talented instructors who care a great deal about their students.
Great place to train. Quality instructors and coaches who really care. Family atmosphere for kids and adults alike. Love this place.
I WONT BE taking my kids here for sure!! I’m already dissatisfied with the customer service and it’s my first time coming here to get detailed infos on their program and prices. Lady at the front desk (Staphanie) needs to have a better attitude and better customer service skills. They should be better prepared to answer legit questions that customers/ parents have for them. She came off snobby and irritated by questions I was asking. She’s telling me everything verbally and didn’t have any pamphlet or flyers to show like other academy/ schools. When I asked her what types of martial arts are offered in Kenpo, she refused to explain and said to “look up on their website all the infos should be online”. I will not be recommending this place to my friends. left a bad impression
