12-Jan-22 Update: I'm moving this review up to five stars. BJJFanatics moved to digital only, no more DVDs are shipped. But they allow you to download a local copy for your PC or tablet. There is always a copy in your account at BJJFanatics, and their video player is excellent. They also dramatically expanded the number of BJJ instructionals they offer. Today, when you want to learn more about a particular move, it's there, taught by the best in the world on that. Lastly, the few number of times I emailed them due to issues with my video library, I got a reply within hours (even in the middle of the night). I have been a very happy customer is the past two years. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I have two orders, one a month old, the other three weeks old, and no sign of the physical DVD sets. They seem to sell physical sets that they do not have ready, that's the only plausible explanation I can think of for such absurd delays. Order only the on-demand format and download the MP4 files. That is pretty much the only timely way to have your personal copy of a course you are interested in. I will soon end up in a PayPal dispute, unfortunately. Other than that, content of the classes can vary from excellent ('must see' stuff) to so-so. Production quality can vary too, from 100% fantastic, best-in-business, to so-so. Sometimes the two guys interacting do not wear Gi's of different colors, which is a basic mistake in a BJJ instructional. Other times the two guys re-do a move without changing the angle, so the re-do is useless. Overlooked quality issues as such can be very annoying for the price you pay for an instructional.

I was hesitant to purchase because I saw some bad reviews. Got a great deal on Tom Deblass Half Guard Domination, bought streaming and dvd. The streaming immediately worked perfect. I highly recommend. OSS!

The material is great, well explained, useful and as usual Jimmy & Travis are world class. Unfortunatly (and it's why it's not a 5 star) I was expecting more nage waza/stand up, kumi kata/grip fighting and less ne waza... Guess I should've looked more at the table of content and less at the title
Mostly great experience. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was when I log into my account and click view my digital content, nothing is there. When I click on my order—I can view the digital content. NBD but it is confusing since what I bought was digital content. Seems like the accessibility should be more fluid.
Posted 7 years agoThe information on the DVDs is invaluable, however the DVD cases were warped when I received them. I'm assuming they withstood a decent amount of heat during shipping and were not flat on something.

I purchased a digital product where the description said that the product would be available to download. It wasn't - you must watch it through their website. You cannot watch it offline. Any polite enquiry is met with silence - no reply whatsoever. This business hides behind the internet - nameless, faceless and not accountable. Terrible business ethics. *** WARNING: Do not buy anything from BJJFanatics. Go straight to the product creator where possible or another reputable distributor. ****
Parcel showed up indicating I needed to pay 27 dollars for sales tax because order was worth 97 dollars. Paid less than that because of presidents sale , plus all other previous orders with DVD were valued at only 20 dollars on parcel. This amount should have been on this one as well because most of the cost is for the digital content not the DVD. I don't have to pay sales tax on the digital content only the DVD. Now I'm worried the same thing will happen next time.
