You won't find a better Muay Thai gym outside of Thailand. I trained here for about 11 years and this was my second home. Kru Khunpon is the best Muay Thai trainer you will ever meet. Coach Marshal and San are also amazing. They always treated me like family. Beginners or seasoned vets, this is the place for you. If you have ever thought about starting Muay Thai, Boxing or just cardio fitness, the time is now! You won't regret it and you won't find a better gym.

I started attending the Duluth location kickboxing classes back in August as a beginner, and I have loved every minute of it! The classes are challenging and different each day but follow the same structure, which keeps it fun and engaging. The coaches are professional and knowledgeable, too. They’ll push you to be better but also leave space for you to do what you can at your own pace. I recommend it to anyone looking for a fast-paced, high-energy, strength-focused workout in a fun and supportive environment!

Bangkok boxing is a great place to learn Muay Thai and get a workout in. They have a great combination of skill work and partner work. For instructors, Kru San is very knowledgable, patient, and fun, and Coach Max is helpful in breaking down movements. The other members and the front dress staff are also very nice. The culture is not intimidating at all especially for beginners.

I started here about 3 years ago, the boxing trainer taught me EVERYTHING I had to know. I truly recommend this gym for anyone SERIOUS about fighting. When covid hit they closed there old location down but the NEW location is just as good if not better. All the fundamentals and footwork I was taught I am able to practice and use in my day to day life. I am so thankful for this gym.

My 1st time competing in the IBJJF Master Worlds Competition in Las Vegas was a great success, and Cross Training in Muay-Thai at Bangkok Boxing in Duluth was a big part of that I must admit! After about 6 months of training in Muay-Thai, my preparation (cardio, strength, and weight control) was improved dramatically( I lost 8 needed pounds for my weight class) !! Out of over 42 competitors in my Brown Belt Division, I was able to make it to the Finals match and on to A Worlds Master silver medal!! My cardio was superior, which led me into the finals with 4 submissions! I felt as strong and confident as I have ever been. Even in the finals, my Cardio and Strength was at a high!!! As an Instructor cross Training at Bangkok Boxing has given me more understanding in striking and balances me in my martial arts journey! I'm so happy I found this Great School ! Very happy!

Great gym and great coach. I went for one Muay Thai lesson and I knew right away that this was the right place to train. The coach spent a lot of time teaching me the basics to make sure I wasn’t left behind while the rest of the class practiced more advanced techniques. With the attention to detail, you can tell that the coach is truly experienced and cares about each of his students. The classes will also push you further than what you thought possible. All the staff here are extremely helpful and invested in your success. Would definitely recommend this gym.

This is my 7 yo sons first time joining boxing and he really enjoys coming to class. The couch really helps him in understanding the postures and movement that are required for boxing. He is always really to come to class and learn something new.

Everyone here is so nice! Every time I enter the gym I feel so welcomed the teachers/coaches/trainers are very friendly, patient, and find different ways to help someone who’s having trouble understanding and making it fun. I’ve been coming here for a couple of months and I’ve learned so much from them and by other people in the gym! I’m so very grateful for them and their time!!! Highly recommend this gym guaranteed you’ll have fun exercising and pushing your limits and become stronger!!!!

This is exactly what you need!!! I've never had more fun exercising & being pushed to my limits. No matter what shape or size you are know that everyone starts somewhere and stick with it. You will be impressed with with how much you're capable. The entire staff and all of the coaches are extremely helpful and will get you on track to being in tip top fighting shape.

I joined up with Bangkok Boxing in February and I've loved it ever since. I lost ten pounds in less than two months, met some great people and awesome coaches. I made and met many good friends here. The people are supportive and has a good mindset on getting fit through the pandemic. They provide different type of classes for your preference. Ex) partner work, groups or individual focus. Try out their first class for free, I was able to learn a lot about form from their coaches. Learn to read your contract before signing and you can always talk/ email them with concerns and questions.

Authentic family owned Muay Thai gym. The instructors really care about teaching you. They will correct your bad form, and explain why it's important to do things a certain way. If you need to lose weight, need to improve yourself, and/or need to learn how to defend yourself, come to this gym. Don't be embarrassed if you can't keep up at first. It's a no judgement zone. There are people of all shapes, sizes, and age here. They also host seminars with famous champions from Thailand like Samart Payakaroon and Kaensak Sor Ploenjit.

I dearly love it! The workouts are fantastic and so is my instructor (Thomas). Bangkok instructors are the real deal. I’m much older than most of them and I’m doing things I never thought in a million years I could do. For my money, it doesn’t get any better! I’m in for the duration. This is one of the toughest workouts I've ever had! My son and I joined the Muay Thai class last year to get in shape and keep him active. They integrated us into the class and really worked to help us get caught up with the rest of the class. Due to some coordination issues with my son, we actually started doing the aerobic kickboxing class instead, so he could get the muscles built to go back to Muay Thai eventually. We had to stop going because we found that my son actually had a brain condition that was causing the coordination issues (he's since had successful brain surgery and improving daily). If we are able to get back to a place to restart our lessons, I'll definitely return to Bangkok Boxing!

Bangkok boxing is a good gym with 2 locations. After a 6 year hiatus deployed with the military, rejoin the gym. They have experience trainers which keep me in ship shape.

Professional staff!! Marshall, Max, and Thomas are great coaches. They are very knowledgeable about Muay Thai/Boxing and are good at helping you improve technique. Jane at the front desk is so nice and will help you with any concerns. It is a positive environment and everyone makes you feel at home.

I've had the privilege of training at many of the top MMA and kickboxing gyms in Georgia over the years and Bangkok Boxing is easily the best. From taking kickboxing classes taught by One FC standout and Lion Fights champion Smokin' Jo Nattawut to learning Muay Thai from the legendary coach Khunpon, your fitness and striking game will increase exponentially. The staff also create a friendly environment as they push you to be your best while providing the valuable feedback that allows you to be a better person tomorrow than you are today. I highly recommend it.

I've been training here for some months now. I only take Muay Thai classes and I love it. A handful of the trainers, for both Muay Thai and kickboxing, are or have been world champs. Each instructor has a different style of teaching but each of them know what they're doing and you can always learn and improve. I also really dig the community here. I've been able to make friends and everyone pushes and encourages each other and supports each other in training. I do agree with a lot of the reviews that dealing with ABC financial can be rough, but let's be honest here, like ANY gym membership, it's a commitment and if you don't commit, under contract there will be consequences. So think about it before you sign the papers. Maybe look into the class more. Maybe look into yourself more, too. If you decide to join, try and stick it out for a couple of months and not just one month, give yourself time to really assess it.

The kids classes are great. I am so glad I found this gym. My child did a different martial arts and after several years there, wanted a change. Where the old place was good teaching discipline and form the actual fighting form lacked in comparison to this place. If self defense is what you are looking for then this is the place. It seems all the Instructors here have, or do compete in the ring. I've watched a few of the adult classes and they are very intense.

Great gym for Muay Thai. All the coaches have or currently fight professionally, and clearly know their stuff. Have been going to this gym 5 days a week for almost a month now, and not only have I learned something new every day, it's helped me get in better shape, as the classes not only focus on technique but are intense workouts as well. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Muay Thai. Check out "Khunpon Kaewsamrit" and "Joe Nattawut", the coaches, on YouTube. Phenomenal Muay Thai fighters.

Very reasonable price for multiple classes. There are at least 5 classes per week for any type ranging from boxing, bjj, muay Thai, and cardio kickboxing. As for the instructors, they are exellent. Kupoon the owner/grandmaster of muay thai is a technical moster. Farbian is a MMA master who is an expert on pushing on useful cardio. Marshall is like a funny dad who will push you to your limit. Last but not least, Jo "Smoking" Nattawat is the champion of the place. Jo is holding multiple champion belts, just check him out on youtube and you will be amaze. Just to name a few. Students there are very friendly who would be kind and help you out regardless of your level. This gym main goal is to make you putting out maximum efforts and push to your maximum. I have been going to Bangkok for a little over a month now. Before I lived in Atlanta I worked out at another boxing gym and before that another Muay Thai gym. Bangkok has the best instructors I have ever worked with hands down. Marshall is excellent and critiques your form by positioning your body in the way it should be for correct form, which is a hands on method that I had never seen before. I go to both the fitness kickboxing and the Muay Thai. I love both classes. I would recommend this gym to everyone, from people looking like get in shape to those wanting to fight.

Title: A Disheartening and Disgraceful Experience I am deeply disappointed by the lack of compassion and unethical behavior of Bangkok Martial Arts Gym. I signed up for a membership with a friend, despite the gym being far from my home. Unfortunately, I never used the membership because of two significant reasons: the distance and, more importantly, the sudden passing of my father. During that time, canceling my membership was the last thing on my mind, as I was grieving and focused on my family. Despite my absence, the gym continued to charge me month after month without any attempt to reach out or check why I had not returned. Eventually, the charges went to collections, damaging my credit. I am only 22 years old, and I just had my first child. Now, my credit is so affected that I cannot even secure an apartment for my family. When I called to explain the situation, the manager was cold, unethical, and lacked empathy. Instead of understanding my situation, she smugly informed me that I had already signed, as if I was now powerless to do anything. This heartless attitude goes against the values of integrity, honor, and respect that martial arts is supposed to uphold. It is appalling that this gym is willing to tarnish its reputation and relationships over a few dollars, showing no regard for the people who trust them. This experience has left me disheartened, disgusted, and deeply disappointed. I hope others take heed of how this gym treats its members and find a place that actually values people over profits.

You’re paying about $1600 a year ($120 a month and an enrollment fee) to take a boxing class with more kids than the instruction can handle. I joined this gym wanting to learn to properly box and was met with a class of 20+ people with majority of them being under 9 years old. It was incredibly hard to learn and there is no way to cancel a membership. In order to cancel you have to pay 75% of the membership even if you aren’t satisfied. Do not recommend if wanting somewhere to learn how to properly box.

On my first trial I had a terrible experience. I showed up 20 minutes before class so I could have direction and got a little information from the front desk. They advised me the head coach is out and the assistant coach would be teaching. Class was supposed to start at 6 pm and the coach did not walk in until 6:20. While I sat in a chair waiting for direction the assistant coach never acknowledged me and gave me no direction. I sat waiting for almost 40 minutes and the asst coach started his class with children. I came for a challenge and for someone that would push me but your assistant coach is the complete opposite of the expectations. I walked out when he started his class and do not plan to come back.

Save yourself, the business practices and policies are shady. If for any reason you ever have to cancel your classes it will take an act of congress, the military and God to get out. When your parents told you trouble was easy to get in and hard to get out, Bangkok Boxing Fitness is what they were talking about.

DO NOT!!! I repeat DO NOT!!! sign up for their membership. Their membership is managed by a third party company known as ABC Financial that brings you through several obstacles when canceling the membership. I canceled due to relocation of my home due to a job offer and they wanted me to provide several personal documents prior to canceling as if I was canceling a lease of some sort. They aren’t going to inform you that they utilize a third party company neither.

Took their free introductory class, and decided it was ok. Paid $145 to join, and $99 a month. After signing up (same day) I went over to LA fitness to sign up for membership, and found out that they have kickboxing classes included, along with a sauna, a basketball court, a swimming pool, and personal training courses all included in the membership, for $30 a month! Needles to say, it was a way better value so I cancelled my membership within the 7 day, grace period (maybe a day or two later). Unfortunatley, they told me none of my money is refundable, per contract. Turns out that my free class wasnt free afterall. It cost me $145. I feel scammed. Definitely a very bad experience that feels like a scam. The point of the review is that for all people reading this in the future, maybe, shop around before you sign their contract, because there are way better options for your hard earned money.

Asked specifically how much membership will cost when I went in very first time but I was told by a staff that he can’t tell me until my kids take free one time class for evaluation to determine what they are good at. Took time out to take kids which they loved but now he’s telling us there’s one time registration fee of $199 then option of 24 months or 12 months monthly cost. He could’ve saved my time and theirs if he told me straight up about the pricing when I went in first instead of lying of not knowing. And kept insisting telling me unlimited class options though been asking just Muay Thai class fees. Why can I get straight answers on fees? For unlimited classes it’s very reasonable price but just don’t understand why registration fee is so high and wouldn’t tell me other pricing options.

They just care about money. They will be nice to you when you first walk in but it's fake and they don't pay you attention and ABC Financial will hound you forever. STAY AWAY from here.

Gym and staff is great. But the ABC financial company they using is a the worst, when i sign a contract ive asked if i will be able to freez my membership for a few months (for traveling reasons) and ive been told that shouldn't be a problem. Nope, they only freez up for 2 months for Specific medical reasons, with doctor's notice. And to cancel the contract is a nightmare. Choose this gym only if you are 100% sure that you will be able to attend or willing to pay full contract period.
