I was in the area with family and was very pleased to find out there was a gym nearby where I could get some Jiu Jitsu in. The coaches were very welcoming and the training was great. The students were a pleasure to train with and I learned a bunch. If you’re in the area and need to get a roll or 2 in I highly recommend Backwoods. Thanks Mac and team!

I trained here for a couple months while traveling and was really impressed with this gym. Great, knowledgeable coaches who were very welcome to newcomers. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone in the area!

Absolutely mind-blowing experience at Backwoods Combat Collective! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in the presence of greatness. The instructors are like modern-day samurais, imparting their unparalleled wisdom with each move. The atmosphere is electric, charged with determination and camaraderie. My skills have transformed beyond imagination, thanks to the rigorous training and expert guidance. This gym isn't just a place to train; it's a temple of martial arts mastery. If you're not here, you're missing out on becoming the ultimate version of yourself.

You better listen to Timmy on this one and become your best you. "What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable." -Socrates Since I started training here I'm lighter on my feet, I have visible biceps, abs, and leg muscles. I could throw a punch, or dodge one, if I needed to. And I feel much better too. They are also surprisingly chill and open-minded. I wasn't sure if I should go at first, because I'm maybe not the most traditional martial arts student or person, but I've never felt judged here. Much wisdom, I've picked up many tricks. Thanks BCC, you are changing my life.
