I've trained and served with Sensei Sullens in the Military and he does an amazing job! He's honest, trustworthy, and will make it his personal mission to teach you "real world," practical self defense skills to keep both you and your loved ones safe and out of danger.
Amazing group of people. One of the few dojo’s I’ve ever seen with multiple blackbelts in class and available for help and for teaching. Very rare opportunity to witness and be taught by that many years of training/experience accumulated into one dojo.
I can recommend Anshin Kai without any reservation. They are very practical while also maintaining a tie to the rich history of Goju Ryu (and Sensei Jeff is like a human encyclopedia). The instructors and senior students are all devoted and driven while also being easy to approach and friendly. There is about an equal mix of children, teens, and adults which speaks to the quality of instruction. It's not easy but you'll get out of it what you put in.
My son enjoys karate class. He is taught in a manner that is challenging, yet age-appropriate. The senseis communicate effectively, keeping parents informed of class schedules and student progress.

My son has been attending the martial art classes for almost 3 years now and I've watched him mature with his confidence, discipline and focus. He enjoys going to the classes and the self defense techniques he has learned still amaze me. The leadership here is one the best and I can't say enough about Sensei Jeff and the other Sensei's. As a retired veteran, it is great to see a community business that operates like a family and genuinely cares about the students and parents.

My 13 year old son joined Anshin Kai Karate in the summer and he loves it, he never misses a class. Sensei Jeff, Sensei Pat, and their whole team, care very much about the program and it shows in their lessons. They have every level from beginner to expert and every age as well. You are never too young or too old to join. And the price is amazing as well. I cannot say enough about this group. So glad we found them.
We love it here! The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable and I feel like my kids get so much individual attention. The rest of the students are so nice, it’s such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Excellent, knowledgeable, and disciplined teachers. Great learning atmosphere and lot's of cool stuff to learn. Sensei Jeff is a walking encyclopedia of karate knowledge so there is always something to learn. Last but not least, the classes are affordable.

My son has been training here for many years now. The instructors truly care about the students and track their individualized progress every step of the way. There are so many classes for all ages that the whole family can join! This is the best Martial Arts school around. Ask about their specials!
I started training with Jeff Sullen when we were in 10th grade and have watched him grow into the amazing teacher he is today. Jeff is also a good father, husband and U.S. Army veteran. If you are looking for a great place to train or take your children, Anshin Kai Martial Arts is the place! It’s definitely worth a look!
Affordable, family oriented, and focused karate instruction with practical, and understanding leadership. You will not be disappointed.
Our son enjoyed this class for the most part. Unfortunately, we were looking for more structure and discipline in a Martial Arts class.
