  I've trained at Andy's for a good number of years now, I've been to a few other gyms and none of them compare to the the gym Andy has created for his students. Great facilities and even better training partners with a great level of knowledge and appreciation for anybody who steps onto the mats. Overall a fantastic gym to train from complete beginners , to those with more experience.

  I have been attending classes regularly now for around 3 years and have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience from the highly talented instructors at the Academy. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone loves sharing the valuable techniques and tips. I highly recommend this club. Always a warm welcome to new starters at any skill level regardless of whether they have delved into martial arts or not!

  Myself and my sons all train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Andy’s. It is a superb, professionally run, family friendly gym to train at. The instructors are all high level, very knowledgeable and most importantly, friendly and approachable. In my opinion very good value for money, as you can train multiple martial arts and there are more than enough classes to keep anyone going through the week. I highly recommend this gym both for adults and children.

  Andy Nugents is a very friendly and supportive gym. Every who goes helps and encourages each other from the part time hobbyist to the competitor. Andy has a wealth of knowledge that cover pretty much every martial art you can think of with 10 black belts and a host of great stories, as well as a breath of other great instructors who are experts in their field. If you're very lucky you might get a cup of tea from Julie if you're nice too!

  Been training with Andy for a year now, he’s got some really good instructors taking classes so have learnt a variety of styles and techniques from different people. Friendly staff, helpful timetable for my shifts and a good team feel to all the guys that train.
