After one week trial, I made the decision to extend my membership for one year. I am so happy and can't wait for the next session. This is heaven crowded of angels. Convinient free parking lot, kind, welcoming, and highly respectful environment. Thank you all.

I did the 1 week trial and then signed up. Aikido is helping me get fitter, highlighting other exercise I need to do and I'm learning a new skill. The people are fun and very friendly. Try it!

The Alexandria is in collective is an amazing community! So supportive, encouraging, funny, and fun. If you’re injured, if you’re new to the practice, or anything like that no need to feel nervous. You are met where you are at and you were able to participate up to the level that you are. I have never felt more welcomed and appreciated by a group of people, you can’t go wrong by joining this group!

Having never practiced a martial art, the beginner’s course was accessible and well paced. Everyone at the Center was friendly and encouraging. The instruction was clear and questions were welcome! Highly recommend!

Took the intro classes, first time doing anything martial arts related. Alison was my teacher, and she was A+ excellent. Very good at teaching, very patient with me. Recommend this place for sure, might even come back for monthly lessons later this year.

Has been a wonderful experience learning Aikido from Lincoln and Noble Sensei for almost a year now. They are highly knowledgeable, passionate, patient and effective teachers, and the other students are also great people who foster an atmosphere of community and fun.

The instructions are clear, the members and Sensei's work with you at your skill level. Zazen (meditation) helps with clearing your mind and teaching you to focus. I have been a student for a year now and I look forward to the continued learning and growth!

I have had the privilege of practicing Aikido several times with Alison Lincoln Sensei, and each time have come away with a deeper understanding of the art. She demonstrates that compassion and confidence can coexist, both on and off the mat. If you have the opportunity to benefit from her instruction, take it!

As a person who has worked with Lincoln Sensei both inside and outside of the dojo environment for many years I can wholeheartedly reccomend her quality instruction and experience in Aikido. She is a skilled and patient instructor. Her dedication to the art is immense. If you have any interest in training or are just looking to find an endeavor that can help to inspire your confidence, improve your fitness level and generally allow yourself to better deal with any challenges in life - Ryushinkan Aikido training is for you!

Lincoln Sensei is a patient and dedicated teacher. It is clear that she takes care to ensure students of any experience level feel comfortable on the mat. I also cannot emphasize enough how empowering it is to learn martial arts from another woman. Lincoln sensei has been a role model to me since I started training with her 5 years ago.

Lincoln Sensei is an outstanding teacher with years of experience and an amazing spirit. I have participated in many classes and seminars with her, and I'm always grateful for her unique combination of extreme dedication and commitment to training combined with her compassion and friendliness towards students. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practicioner of Aikido, you will find Ryushinkan is a great place to train. I wish I lived in D. C. so I could take classes here!

The 6 years I spent with Lincoln Sensei on the mat were tremendously helpful to me both as an aikidoka and a woman. I loved her approach in teaching classes, but more importantly I loved her passion for women empowerment through aikido.
