Our family had an incredible experience at the Academy of Martial Arts in Davenport! Both of our kids loved their Taekwondo classes, and the discipline and confidence they've gained have been amazing to watch. My wife and I also took the kickboxing classes, and we were blown away by the intensity and results. Missy, who runs the academy and teaches the kickboxing classes, is absolutely phenomenal. She's energetic, knowledgeable, and knows how to push you to your limits in the best way possible. The entire staff is welcoming and professional, making it a fantastic environment for both kids and adults.
We've been at this school from September 2023 and we do like it. All instructors are nice, but my number one is Master Schultz (hope name is correct). He is strict, but it exactly what kids need not for goofing and playing around, but to do what they have to. Thanks
Truly a wonderful school. Everyone is amazing! The instructors are really good. My son loves it here. I love the discipline. Instructor Rivera is absolutely fantastic!! He is stern but has patience. I see all the kids looking up to him, he's a wonderful role model. Missy is so great, she keeps everything running smoothly and takes care of everything and everyone. Master Schultz is awesome at Belt testing. And Ms. Smith is all love with these kids. This is a place parents can feel great about sending there kids.
The best Tae Kwon do of all. The instructors are amazing , the environment is very health and the owners are so friendly.
Our kids have been going for years. They truly care about the kids and want them to succeed. I would always recommend Academy of Martial Arts!
My unbiased opinion is that this is a great environment for both the parents and the kids. Everyone is welcomed with a smile and treated with the upmost respect. The owners of the place are hard workers and work diligently to make sure literally everything runs smoothly. The workers are the icing on the cake. They want what’s best for the kids and work everyday to do their job as efficiently as possible.
Great place for kids, especially camp. Great schedule, activities, and learning experiences. My kids are ecstatic to go every morning and come home every night raving about all the things they learned and fun they had. If one of the kids breaks a rule, he/she does a set amount of an exercise(like jumping jacks) which has been a great way to build and improve physical strength and character.
Great place for all the kids to learn Taekwondo. Always getting excellent service and my son has grown in the past few months. Master Cody has been an excellent teacher and very paciente with all his students. I totally recommend this place!
Falsely accused of something which they had no evidence of. Forces children to do harsh punishments for no exact reason. Horrible place, not a safe zone for kids. Master Shultz curses to the kids. Will never deal with again.
Not anymore a great place. Master Cody has been let go because of Master Johnson wanting more control of the business. The students are should going to suffer because Master Cody had patience that Johnson and Schultz do not. We have left for a better school, Hope to find Cody in our search
