Reading's BJJ tournaments are mostly held in the town itself, with the occasional event in nearby Abingdon. Pro Sport Grappling runs the Reading Open series, which returns regularly, and All Stars BJJ holds its All Stars BJJ South events here. Mat Masters has also organised competitions in Reading.
Gi and No-Gi divisions are both offered, around a quarter of events include kids divisions and close to a third have an absolute. IBJJF rules and round-robin brackets both appear. November is by far the busiest month, followed by June and December.
