Norwich has a small but regular BJJ competition calendar, with almost every event held in the city itself and the occasional show in nearby Thetford. All Stars BJJ is the main organiser, running All Stars BJJ Norwich and All Stars BJJ East Anglia events, while the Core Grappling Circuit holds the Norwich Open and a winter open. The Eastern Open has also been held here.
Gi and No-Gi divisions are offered in equal measure, around a quarter of events include kids divisions and close to a third have an absolute. Adult entry is typically around £10–£36. September is the busiest month, followed by March, April and June.
