Coventry is one of the busiest BJJ competition cities in the Midlands and hosts several national-level events. All Stars BJJ is the most active organiser, alongside ADCC UK and the BJJ British Open.
All Stars BJJ runs All Stars BJJ Coventry, All Stars BJJ Midlands, the Winter Midlands and the All Stars BJJ UK Nationals. The BJJ British Open holds both Gi and No-Gi editions, and ADCC UK brings the ADCC British Open, the ADCC UK National Championships and the ADCC UK English Open to the city.
Gi divisions are slightly more common than No-Gi, and close to half of events include an absolute division. About a quarter of events run kids divisions. Adult entry typically costs around £10–£64. December is the busiest month, followed by October and June.
