The WTKA GB Southern Open brings together martial artists from across the UK for an exciting weekend of high-quality competition. We welcome competitors of all styles, grades and associations to compete in a professionally organised event that promotes excellence, respect and sportsmanship.

Division Mergers

WTKA reserves the right to merge divisions where entry numbers are low.

Forms divisions may be merged by one age category either side and/or by gender without prior notification.

Points Fighting, Light Continuous and Light Box divisions may be merged according to the competitor's registered weight, ensuring competitors remain within a safe weight range.

Kumite divisions may be merged by gender where necessary.

Weigh-In Information

There is a maximum weight allowance of 1kg at the official weigh-in.

If a competitor is outside the 1kg allowance on the day, they may be moved into the appropriate weight division where possible or disqualification. If there are no competitors in the new division, no refund will be given.
