Absolute brackets are free of charge, but any competitor must actively compete in a bracket to qualify to enter the absolutes.

Rules:
Beginners and kids divisions will run on our points structure.The adults intermediate and advanced divisions will be Submission only, with 2 x 1 minute overtime rounds available in a draw.
Brackets are grouped, beginner, Intermediate and advanced (Pro), as well as by Weight.
Please note: For the Kids Divisions we will always do our best to match age and weight as close as possible and will split the brackets where necessary.
Weigh ins are same day. Selected weight divisions must be adhered to, failure to make weight will result in being moved up a weight category.
Entry into the Absolute Division is free of charge but requires completion of an intermediate or advanced bracket.

Early bird pricing is before 30 June 2026: Kids R425, Women R450, Adults R500, and Masters R450.

Is there a late fee after registration closes?

Multiple divisions cost Kids R750 and Adults R900.
Who may not enter white belt or beginner divisions?
Any professional, black belt or Commonwealth Games level combat sport athlete, as well as any professional combat sports athlete, may not enter white belt or beginner divisions.
Are absolute brackets available, and do they cost extra?
