ROUND ROBIN
Offering you the opportunity for multiple matches giving you value for money.

Sunday 8th November at 10:30am. Weigh ins from 9:30am. We cannot accept registrations on the day.

🔀 Brackets & Mergers
As with any local competition, there may be instances where a competitor is alone in their division. Where possible, we will merge divisions to ensure matches while keeping things safe and fair.
By registering, competitors acknowledge that: • Mergers may be required • In some cases, suitable merges may not be possible
We’ll always do our best to communicate clearly and make sure everyone gets the best experience possible.
We also have showers and changing facilities available in the gym.

When and where is Strabane Submission Series 3?

What time do weigh-ins and matches start?
Weigh-ins are from 9:30am, and the event is scheduled for 10:30am.
Can I register on the day?
No. Registrations on the day cannot be accepted.
How much is entry and what does it include?
Entry is £25 for No-Gi divisions and Absolute. Medals are awarded for division winners.
What experience brackets are available?
The experience brackets are White belt <12 months training, White belt >12 months training, Blue Belt/MMA competitor, and Purple belts.
What weight categories are available?
Male weight categories are <75kg, 75kg - 90kg, and 90kg above. Female weight categories are <60kg and >60kg.
What is the match format?
This is a No-Gi, round-robin tournament with 5-minute submission-only matches and EBI overtime rules.
What techniques are restricted?
Kneebars, toeholds, and heel hooks are not allowed.
Can divisions be merged?
Yes. Divisions may be merged where possible if a competitor is alone in their division, but suitable merges may not always be possible.
Are changing facilities available?
Yes. Showers and changing facilities are available in the gym.
