Manitoba’s longest running and largest bi-annual  Submission Grappling Tournament.

The Manitoba Open is held twice a year to provide an organized, high quality tournament for all regional competitors to gain key competition experience and to test their skills. Our tournament has been developed to follow the same framework as many of the highest recognized international events.

We welcome and invite all academies to participate in our annual tournament.

Spectators: $10  (Kids under 10 free)

WEIGH INS

Competitors will weigh must weight in when they arrive at the venue, before their first match. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make weight, they will be immediately disqualified. (no weight allowance)

Adults can weigh-in with in GI or NOGI attire. 

Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division. You can not change divisions , if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted in the tournament day, no refund.

Competitors 13 and younger will have a 1lb weight allowance.

Kids and Teens will weigh in WITH the GI (if they are doing GI division)
