Le Grapplers League - Québec Open Edition Printemps 2026 sera sanctionnée par la Fédération Québécoise de Jiu-jitsu Brésilien, conformément aux règles de l'IBJJF.

Les compétiteurs doivent être membres de la Fédération Québécoise de Jiu-jitsu Brésilien (Note : l'adhésion à la JJBQC est non remboursable).

DURÉE DES MATCHS / LENGHT OF MATCHES

ENFANT:

Mighty Mite: For children around 4–6 years old, matches are 2 minutes long
Pee Wee: For children around 7–9 years old, matches are 3 minutes long
Junior: For children around 10–12 years old, matches are 4 minutes long
Teen: For children around 13–15 years old, matches are 4 minutes long
Juvenile: For children around 16–17 years old, matches are 5 minutes long

En français :

Atome : Pour les enfants d’environ 4 à 6 ans, les combats durent 2 minutes.
Pee Wee : Pour les enfants d’environ 7 à 9 ans, les combats durent 3 minutes.
Junior : Pour les enfants d’environ 10 à 12 ans, les combats durent 4 minutes.
Ado : Pour les adolescents d’environ 13 à 15 ans, les combats durent 4 minutes.

Doors open at 8h00. The competition starts at 09:30, with a children’s rules meeting at 09:00.

What competition format is used?

Children divisions are double elimination. Adult Gi / No-Gi and Masters divisions are also listed as double elimination.

When are weigh-ins and what must competitors wear?

Weigh-ins begin at 8:00 AM, and competitors should be present at least 01H30 before their match for weigh-in. Gi competitors weigh in with the gi and belt; No-Gi competitors weigh in with shorts and rashguard. No additional weight allowance is permitted.

What are the spectator fees?

Spectators under 18 are free. Coaches who are black belts and instructors only are free. Spectators 18 and older pay 20 $ taxes included at the entrance, and card payment is possible.

What is the refund policy if a competitor has no opponent?

Competitors are asked to wait until 26 Février for a refund due to lack of opponent. If there is no one in the division, the organizer will either find an opponent or move the competitor to a nearby division; if that does not interest the competitor, a refund will be issued. If the competitor is still alone, they will be refunded on the 27th.
