The Finishers Open 23 is NOGI Submission Only, tournament open to the public.

Repechage System 

This event will utilize the the repechage system. This allows second-chance opportunities for grapplers who've been eliminated by opponents who advance to later rounds. Grapplers who lose to eventual finalists or semifinalists in earlier rounds enter a special repechage bracket.

MENS AND WOMEN'S DIVISIONS 

We will try and separate the white and blue belts to make it more fair, if there isnt a bog division we will just combine them.

RULES - Adult 

White/Blue - 6 min -  3 EBI OT - 2 min max - No heel hooks. Reaping, straight ankles and knee bars are legal. No Slams, No Guard Jumping, No Toe Holds, No Calf Slicers. Twisters are ok! NO SCISSOR LEG TAKEDOWNS

Purple/Brown/Black - 8 min - 3 EBI OT - 2 min max -  All submissions legal, No Slams, No Guard Jumping - NO SCISSOR LEG TAKEDOWNS

Masters Divisions - 6 min 3 EBI OT - 2 min max - All submissions legal, No Slams, No Guard Jumping - NO SCISSOR LEG TAKEDOWNS

EBI Rules - 3 EBI OT - 2 min max EBI OvertimeCompetitors alternate between attacking and escaping from two predetermined positions:β€’  Back Control – Attacker starts with back control and a seatbelt.β€’  Spiderweb/Armbar Position – Attacker starts in the standard EBI armbar position. One hand must be on the mat.The competitor who gets the fastest submission wins the match.If neither competitor earns a submission during overtime, the competitor with the fastest cumulative escape time wins.

Video weigh in the day before and send to @finishers_subonly on instagram. You can also weigh in the morning of your matches. 

We will also open weigh in Friday night in person weigh ins from 4pm - 8pm - Finishers HQ
