UNIFORM

IBJJF Uniform Requirements

The Gi should be completely white, blue or black. No Gi’s will be accepted with different colored jackets or pants nor will we allow the use of Gis with different colored collars. It is not allowed for athlete’s to wear rashguards beneath their Gi (except for females).

Use of any foot gear, headgear, hair pins, jewelry, cups (genital protectors), or any other protector fashioned of hard material that may cause harm to an opponent or the athlete him/herself is forbidden. Also forbidden is the use of eyes protectors, even if they are made for sports practices. The use of joint protectors (knee, elbow braces, etc.) that increase body volume to the point of making it harder for an opponent to grip the Gi are also forbidden.

FIGHT TIME

Stay updated before and during the tournament on Smoothcomp, follow the live brackets on the screens or on your phone. It is your own responsibility to show up on time at the Warming Up Area. Find out your dynamic starting time.

NO REFUNDS, NO COUPONS

After registration it will not be able to get your registration fee back.

We understand the frustration about the no refund policy. For an organizer it is a big risk to organize a tournament, all income is needed for this day. There will always be dozens of cancellations. If we have to take this into account, it will not be possible to organize a tournament again. We hope that it is also understandable from our side.

COACHES

For adults: 5 competitors: 1 coach, 10 competitors: 2 coaches, 15 competitors: 3 coaches, with a maximum of 8 coaches.

For kids: 3 competitors: 1 coach, 6 competitors: 2 coaches, 9 competitors: 3 coaches, with a maximum of 8 coaches.

Each coach will get a keycord with badge, only one coach is allowed to go to the coach-lanes. Please note: we can also confiscate the badge in case of improper/bad behavior.
