Description
The BaseMark Grappling Series is a submission focused event hosted in Fairfield, California, bringing together athletes from across Northern California. Matches are contested without points or advantages. Placing full emphasis on control, pressure, and submission offense. If no submission occurs, the match is decided by first takedown.
COMPETITION FORMAT
• Submission-only tournament
• No points. No advantages
• Matches reward action, control, and finishing ability
• Belt level does not matter
MATCH OUTCOME
• Submission = immediate victory
• If no submission occurs → first takedown wins
BRACKET FORMAT
• Double elimination whenever possible
• Minimum of 2 matches per athlete
• First loss → consolation bracket
• Second loss → elimination
• Finals may include a true final

• Open to all Adult competitors
• Must compete in division bracket to qualify
• Black Belts may enter directly
• Free registration for Black Belts
