It’s time to step on the mat and showcase your training. Competing is one of the best ways to challenge your technique, test your mindset, and grow as a martial artist. We’re excited to host you at one of the most established tournaments in the sport.

MAT AREA RULES

  • Only spectators who purchased a VIP Mat Access may enter the mat area. 
  • All Coaches must sign a NABJJF Code of Conduct Agreement before being allowed in the mat area. If you have not received an agreement, please email tournament@nabjjf.com.
  • Coaches must check in at the weigh-in station to obtain their wristbands. 

WEIGH-IN RULES

  • Kids Divisions: 2-pound weight allowance. Athletes exceeding this allowance will be disqualified. Please register your child in a division they can safely make.
  • Juvenile and Adult Divisions: No weight allowance.
  • Weigh-ins must be done in full competition attire (Gi or No-Gi uniform).

BRACKET FORMAT

  • Double Elimination format for all brackets (Kids, Juvenile, and Adult)
  • 2 competitors: best 2 out of 3
  • 3 competitors: round robin
  • 4+ competitors: double elimination with 3rd place match

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Free Rash Guard Deadline: Oct 28, 2026
  • Division Change Deadline: Nov 28, 2026
  • Registration Closes: Nov 25, 2026
  • Brackets and Schedule Posted: Dec 3, 2026

No changes to divisions will be allowed after the deadline. Athletes are responsible for reviewing their registration and weight class in Smoothcomp before the division change deadline.

What are the key deadlines for division changes, brackets, and the rash guard offer?
The free rash guard deadline is Oct 28, 2026, and the division change deadline is Nov 28, 2026. Brackets and the schedule will be posted Dec 3, 2026. No division changes are allowed after the deadline.
How much are spectator tickets and VIP Mat Access?
Spectator tickets are $12 online or $15 at the door, card only, and children under 7 enter free. VIP Mat Access is $59.99 pre-order or $79.99 at the door, and VIP ticket holders must also buy spectator tickets.
What are the mat area access rules?
Only spectators who purchased VIP Mat Access may enter the mat area. Coaches must sign a NABJJF Code of Conduct Agreement and check in at the weigh-in station to obtain wristbands. If a coach has not received an agreement, they should email tournament@nabjjf.com.
