EVENT OVERVIEW

Since 2010, the ADCC Philippine International Open has been one of Asia's longest-running ADCC competitions and one of the Philippines' premier No-Gi submission grappling events.

Held under the Official ADCC Competition Rules, the tournament welcomes competitors from all academies and affiliations with divisions for Kids, Adults, Women and Masters.

Whether you are entering your first ADCC tournament or pursuing another championship title, the event offers the opportunity to compete under the world's leading submission grappling rules in a professionally managed competition.

ABOUT ADCC

The Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) is recognised worldwide as the premier submission grappling organisation.

Founded in 1998, the ADCC World Championships bring together elite competitors from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo, Sambo, Catch Wrestling, Luta Livre and Mixed Martial Arts.

Youth 15 -17 years 

Male and Female divisions: 

1. Beginner

Less than 24 months of grappling experience.

2. Intermediate

Less than 48 months of grappling experience.

3. Advanced

More than 48 months of grappling experience.

Tournament officials may move competitors to a higher division where necessary to ensure fair competition.

COMPETITOR INFORMATION

Venue : 

Arrive at least one hour before your scheduled division.

Masters, Junior and Kids competitors must present identification showing their date of birth.

Match Schedule: 

Monitor your brackets through Smoothcomp and the event display screens.

Competitors not present after three calls may be disqualified.

Eligibility: 

Amateur MMA athletes may compete in the Beginner Division.

Professional MMA athletes, National Team Wrestlers and Judo Black Belts must compete in the Intermediate or Advanced divisions.

Weigh-In: 

All competitors must weigh in before their first match.

Medals

Single-entry competitors may collect their medals from the Awards Podium throughout the day.

Beginner

5-minute match

First 2 minutes – No points

Final 3 minutes – Points

2-minute overtime if required

Intermediate & Advanced

6-minute match

First 3 minutes – No points

Final 3 minutes – Points

3-minute overtime if required

Advanced Finals

8-minute match

First 4 minutes – No points

Final 4 minutes – Points

4-minute overtime if required

Negative points apply from the start of the match in accordance with the Official ADCC Rules.
