My 5 year old has been in Kung-Fu for almost two months now and it’s become his new favorite thing to do! All of the staff is absolutely amazing and I love the curriculum/structure of the classes they offer. My son has already learned so much and it’s so exciting to see him build confidence within himself. I also really appreciate how flexible their schedule is, 10/10 recommend Kung Fu 4 Kids!

My youngest daughter who is 5 decided she wanted to try karate/kung fu, I inquired and was given a trial period of 4 weeks to see if she liked it enough to continue, and she has loved it! It’s an amazing way for kiddos to gain confidence and respect in a different way, while keeping it fun. The teachers Cici and Paloma are always so kind to the kids and have so much patience with them. Carlton was very informative when we signed up and gave us everything we needed to succeed. We just signed up for a year!

I tried their 1 month free trial and my kid liked it so much so I officially enrolled him. They are very friendly, approachable, and welcoming not only on the first day but all throughout the process so far. They teach the kids how to be focus, respectful, humble, and responsible. They’re good also come to reminders and follow ups. They have a nice parking space, and a little coffee shop on the corner. They also have a good viewing seats and space if you want to watch your kid.

Kids truly thrive here! I’ve seen it through my own children’s experience. This is a friendly and motivating environment with a clear goal — to help kids become stronger, open-minded, disciplined, dedicated, and fit. The staff and trainers are incredibly kind, supportive, and professional. A wonderful place to learn and grow — a great Mixed Martial Arts Center!

We love this place! Our son has been coming for 7 months. They teach martial arts yes, but they are also very centered around accountability, respect, wellness and kindness toward others. The kids learn a lot and it’s really cool to see our child, as well as others, improve in their Kung fu skills while building confidence. The instructors are all amazing. They do fun evening events too, on occasion (pizza night, parents night out, etc). Overall, it’s been a wonderful experience and our son looks forward to his classes each week.

My 10 year old Nephew has ADHD and has been struggling with being bullied at school. He has been attending classes for 1 month, he already has more confidence in himself. All the instructions are wonderful! It’s easy to switch a day or time if we need to, it’s easy to communicate with staff. I’m so happy with everything he is learning in class and bringing home and at school. Love this program!

My family has been coming to Kung-Fu 4 Kids for over 5 years now. Our experience has been consistently excellent. From the enthusiasm and friendliness of the instructors to the gym's cleanliness, this operation is head and shoulders above any similar program. Our kids have become more flexible and fit while they learn how to be better people. The personal development curriculum is a welcome addition to the martial arts. Our kids are excited to go to class and feel genuine accomplishment when they are recognized for their achievements by the instructors and Sifu. Edgar, Jaden, Sarah, Tucker and Fila have been excellent for the duration. There are other excellent instructors as well, but those have been our main 5. We started with Ninjagarten and all of our kids enjoyed it and later moved to the general kid class. Once out of Ninjagarten, they worked hard 2-3 times a week, with practice at home, to master their strikes, movements, blocks and bully defense skills. They do progress by belt, but it's more of a bracket for their skill level rather than a super-important rank structure or something. "We train for the art, not the belt." There is so much bang for your buck here, that it really is a great deal. Find your community here! The Seattle Freeze is not affecting this school! We have made great, lasting relationships with other families from Kung-Fu and in an increasingly digitally-separate world, it's nice to have personal connection through the development of our kids again. Anyway, if you are at all unsure, ask for the trial. It's free and you will get a great idea for what the kids do at the school. Also ask about their referral program! All in all, our family cannot recommend the Kung-Fu 4 Kids program at Marysville Martial Arts enough.

My son just finished his one-month trial and renewing was a no-brainer! My son is 8 and is autistic/ADHD in other words, he’s a high-energy handful who homeschools because public school was not a good environment for him. He’s not wired to sit behind a desk all day. I wasn’t sure how it was going to go at Kung Fu 4 Kids. I was fully expecting them to say he was too disruptive or too distractible to continue attending, but the staff and instructors at Marysville Martial Arts have been nothing but patient, encouraging, and supportive. As a result, my son has learned and improved SO MUCH from week to week and really loves going. And what I really love is that while my kiddo is getting exercise and learning new skills in martial arts, he’s also being taught important messages about being a good citizen, confronting bullies, and more. We are so excited to renew and so appreciative for MMA’s wonderfully kind and inclusive staff. Don’t think twice about signing your child up for Marysville Martial Arts! They are amazing at what they do.

Best thing we ever did for our daughter. She tried tball, softball, soccer and gymnastics and none of those sports were her thing. She tried Kung Fu for Kids, and she LOVES it! We are all so impressed by this program. They have these kids dialed in, they give them individual attention, and they stress respect and responsibility. Plus the kids have a ton of fun. It is so refreshing to finally find a sport/institution that treats each child with love and respect, lets them have fun, teaches them valuable skills, and also supports and uplifts them. So so impressed.

My son has been attending their Kung Fu for kids program for almost 2 years and we absolutely love it! Their program is awesome, they actually make the kids work for it and do thorough teaching. They have expectations of the children psychically, mentally and emotionally. Their instructors our wonderful with the kids. When my son went through a difficult time they were helpful and even met privately with him to help him work through some stuff. He looks forward to going every week and says it always helps when he has had a bad day. My favorite part is not having to be commited to the same class times every week. My son plays multiple other sports throughout the year so being able to go online and book classes around our other schedules makes it so much easier for him to be involved in this program year round!

Kung Fu 4 Kids / Marysville Martial Arts is a big part of our life! From birthday parties to parents night out, they do it all sensationally! We’ve been part of the Kung Fu family since 2021. It’s helped my elementary-aged child with physical strength, coordination, and confidence. Not to mention building good character with an anti-bullying campaign and a monthly focus on “power words”, which helps them understand how to make good choices. The staff is always fun and professional! I’m thankful to have Ms.Fila, Mr.Jayden, Mr.Tucker, and Mr.Edgar as a part of my child’s life. They are a phenomenal group of young adults. They take the time to help and guide each student with so much kindness while keeping it lively. Shout out to the front desk! They are quick to respond to parent needs, joyfully! You can text if they are unable to answer the phone. If you’re thinking about trying it out, do it! Your kids will love the fun and challenging experience. Whether it’s just a few months or years, it will be a great adventure. Photo: Birthday party. They did it all from custom invites, managing party reminders, step up/clean up, & even ordered the cake! All the kids received a complimentary month to try it for themselves. It’s been our best birthday party yet. Thank you, Kung Fu 4 Kids

A family member had recommended Kung Fu 4 Kids over the holidays, so I enrolled my 6-year-old online. It was a very easy and low risk process to get started. We met at the studio before the first session for picking up shoes, clothes, and belt, as well as to go over procedures. The studio also has some online videos to help with learning about things like tying the belt. Marysville Martial Arts uses an online portal and text communication to help with making sure things go smoothly. My kiddo enjoys the different play activities in each lesson, like martial arts version of freeze-tag and dodgeball. My family feels fortunate that we were able to find Kung Fu 4 Kids.

KungFu4Kids is awesome. The instructors are patient, nice and accommodating. We had our oldest in Ninjagarten before the pandemic and he excelled in the class. Our second was too young for Ninjagarten pre-pandemic, but the instructors still let him participate when the class was small and he felt included even when having to stay on the sidelines. Now, our oldest is in an advanced class and second is in Ninjagarten and the instructors are still amazingly patient while firm so class time isn't wasted (and they are willing to let our third kid participate once he demonstrates good listening skills). We plan to enroll all 4 kids at KungFu4Kids. Ms. Marie is amazing and kind and all the instructors are wonderful, but we have the most experience with Miss Fila and Mr. Jared. It's expensive, but worth it for the values, discipline and skills.

Our son has been coming here maybe a year now. We started bringing my son because we were looking for a "village". We wanted some other people that our son could have as a positive influence since we live away from family and haven't made many friends. These guys are so awesome. They care about the kids, they have fun with them in class, they even texted me once to ask if my son was ok because he had missed a few classes (he had been sick). But the real deal is that they encourage the kids to be good people, to continue to grow in a positive way. To advance in class the kids need to show that they've earned it, not just that they've learned the moves. They have to have earned it with positive behavior both at home and school, and Kung Fu 4 Kids follows up to make sure that they have. We've definitely found more positive influences for our son here. Kung Fu 4 Kids is part of our village now.

They have improved some much since they started. Staff is great and so accommodating to reschedule their classes when they are unable to attend.

My 4 and 5 year old daughters Really enjoyed the classes, it was great for exercise and to help them with focus. The Instructors were wonderful during class and the facility is really nice. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a good experience, highly recommend!

We've been attending for almost 2 months now and my daughter has learned quite a bit! She practices in the backyard randomly and I'll hear her shouting the Cree "We are Kung Fu For Kids!" Haha she always looks forward to class and has gained more confidence in herself. It helps to "sit in" on class and see what's being taught, so we can practice at home and help her advance. I hope the viewing area opens up a bit more and more parents stay for class because it's a treat to see your child learn, be rewarded for their knowledge and engage in activities as a class. The instructors are awesome and have great patience. I have to give a shout out to Marie at the front desk because she's been very understanding and helpful to us. We look forward to continuing classes at Kung Fu 4 Kids!

My son has been going for a year. We started with a 6 week trial and he has loved every moment of it. We homeschool, so its a great activity, for him to get out of the house a couple times a week. The teachers are very involved, always encouraging and guiding the children. My son has a hearing/speech disability and they've done nothing but help accommodate to help him achieve what the other kids are doing. When things have come up, they've been great to communicate with, great when it comes to switching days for a class. We plan to continue another year! We love it!

Kung Fu for Kids is such a wonderful and influential part of my daughters week! She is constantly learning and it gives her so much confidence in herself. The staff at Marysville Martial Arts are PHENOMENAL and always there to help right away. Honestly starting my daughter at Kung Fu for Kids is one of the best decisions for our family and I cannot recommend them enough!

This is our first experience with Martial Arts and it has been so positive! Our son absolutely loves ninjagarten. The instructors have been so kind and I am amazed at their patience every time I get to watch a class. The staff are all easy to work with and understanding when we have to miss class because our son is sick (which has been a lot after being sheltered for so long). We love coming here for classes and really appreciate how truly caring they are!

Kung Fu 4 Kids is amazing! The staff is kind, and the management is thorough and professional. I recall signing my daughter up for a six-week introductory class, and she loved it! However, by week 4 she had only been to 2 classes total due to covid quarantines back to back. Well when they found out about this they let us start the intro all over again! l was thoroughly impressed.

Updated Post: my son started last July and is still enjoying his time at Kung Fu 4 Kids. We have seen his dedication to this sport as well as love and excitement. He can't wait to go each week and has even said he wants to be an instructor when he gets older. He enjoys being able to help in class by showing newer students techniques. I love that this program gives him an opportunity to learn about leadership and develop important character traits. Original Post: It's been difficult getting my son to participate in any program or group setting but here at Kung Fu 4 Kids he is excited each time to go in and learn. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The communication and various resources they use are wonderful at making sure you don't miss anything. We also really appreciate the additional resources we are receiving via email. I couldn't be happier that my son has found a place he loves to go that is also teaching him wonderful character skills.

We have been coming here for two and a half years, and it has been a great experience. The staff and teachers are all very friendly and flexible. They respond quickly to questions and text messages. My daughter loves her Kung Fu teachers and always comes home excited to tell me about what she has learned.

My son has been attending Kung Fu for Kids since the beginning of summer in 2021 but I have actually know the employees and the owner, Carlton, since 2017. I can 100% trust them to take care of my son and teach him great character traits during class! I love that they offer multiple times during the days and they always keep the kids engaged. I highly recommend this program for families who are looking for a hobby that will instill good values in their children and teach them that hard work pays off.

My experience with Kung Fu for Kids has been great so far. My daughter still has some reservations when I take her to class, but when she comes out she is excited and says she had a great time. She loves all her instructors, and everyone I've spoken with has been both friendly and professional. I love the emphasis they place on respect and responsibilities and I'm looking forward to my daughter's excitement that I'm sure will come as she begins improving to the point of earning stripes and eventually testing for new belts.

My kids love coming to class and always have fun. The staff is friendly and the facilities are clean. However, the class sizes have grown so much there is little individual instruction and the main portion of time is filled up by warm ups, waiting for your turn, and games. After two years, I still don't think my kids could defend themselves if needed. If you're looking for your kid to get some exercise and have fun while kind of learning martial arts, this place is fantastic and it was just what we needed during/post Covid. If your looking for your kids to learn actual self defense skills, discipline, and focus, then I would look elsewhere.

My son loves going to Kung Fu for Kids and the people there are nice , friendly especially Marie in the front desk she’s very accommodating. I wish there would be a better ratio between students to instructor. That way they can spend time to those kids that are struggling and loose focus and they can show them the proper way of doing it right. My son gets distracted and loose focus easily. Overall it’s a very nice place .

Signed up a few of my kids, the first to go was our 4 year old and he was super excited. He was laughing in the lobby waiting for his sister to get her shoes on. I guess the receptionist was having a bad day or something but it didn't take him long to yell at my little one to not be so loud, and ever since then he hasn't wanted to go back in. I guess my son was a little louder than the other kids, but he was just excited and i was handing him already. I didn't appreciate him yelling at him, the irony here is the word for that night was "composure". The instructors were all great and patient, and if it wasn't for the inpatient receptionist we'd continue to go.
