  We had our first class here with my kids almost two years ago now while looking around at different gyms in the area. We started off part time with them and it became pretty apparent soon after that the environment and instruction were amazing and my kids were asking to go more and more often. I can’t say enough good things about the family that runs this gym and makes you feel like you’ve found a home! We gained more than a gym for the kids jiu jitsu but also a gym family!

  Songer Combat Sports in Marysville is truly an outstanding gym! My seven-year-old son has been training here for about a year , and the improvement he has made is incredible. The head coach, Chris, along with his daughter,Kira as second/ assistant coach, provide top-notch instruction with a perfect balance of discipline and encouragement. Mon does an amazing job running the place, making sure everything runs smoothly. The gym offers a welcoming and supportive environment for both kids and adults. My son has gained confidence, strength, and valuable skills thanks to the incredible team here. If you’re looking for the best martial arts gym, Songer Combat Sports is the place to be! Highly recommend!

  You walk in and immediately feel welcomed. This is a great gym to train at, to get back in shape and try out different martial arts. Coach Chris is such a great person and his style of teaching is fantastic. We bring our 1 year daughter in and it just feels like extended family every time we come in.

  Coach Chris and his daughter have been coaching my kids in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for almost 4 years now. They are wonderful. My kids LOVE coming to class each week and seeing the entire Songer family. Chris is patient but firm and has helped my kids grow tremendously in this sport. He is a coach who is truly passionate about what he’s doing and all combat sports. It’s so great for not only my kids physical but also mental health. The wonderful people at the gym have become like a second family and I recommend them to everyone I know!
