Wanted to be careful with the review as I wanted to be honest as possible. I can tell you now, the claim that your child performs better in school and becomes better behaved in all ways is definitely true. That’s not just some random selling point. Our daughter is progressing in Karate, and has shown huge progress in school too and has improved her confidence, her behaviour and overall performance in everything is also noticeably changed. I highly recommend The Dojo. Well done guys.
My son has joined this big family for more than two years and he is happy every time he comes to class. All the Sensei there are professional, friendly and make kids and parents feel welcomed. My son has become more confident and self-disciplined since he joined Dojo. There is not only Karate you can learn, but many impressive life-long skills and lessons being taught.
They are amazing my son has been enjoying his favourite sport since joining the dojo , thanks to all the Sensei’😊👌. Without the Dojo my son would not enjoy karate. The dojo is the best for
Confidence & good well being for kids. He is very confident now and has made some wonderful friends too xx
The best dojo in town !!!
My kids have been shining like stars here and just became European champions this last week—all in just one year!
This amazing achievement is thanks to the incredible Sensei Irfan Ansari and his team.
The training and support at this dojo are unmatched.
Highly recommend !!!
This Dojo is extremely welcoming to all and is a safe environment for people to learn martial arts and other useful life skills that can be extremely useful for young people as they grow into adults.
This Dojo runs a firm but fair approach which all respect and training is carried out with smiles on faces.
My son loves his time at this Dojo and has come on so much in a short space of time.
I would highly recommend this Dojo to anyone interested in learning Martial Arts and life skills for their children...
The martial arts training and help with building a strong character is at a very high level. Unfortunately, the organisation of the gradings leaves a lot to be desired. Students often have to wait outside the dojo in the rain, wind and low temperatures.
Perhaps it would be worth considering a larger time gap between the exams so that one group can leave the dojo calmly before the next one begins. Introducing a 30-minute break between gradings would make it easier for students entering and leaving to change over smoothly. It could also help reduce problems with parking, as well as dropping off and picking up participants.
Poor time keeping. If you're late a few minutes they don't let you enter the lesson but when they run over the grading slots like well over an hour they don't even apologise. It's on a regular basis now. Parents waiting in the freezing weather without a clue what's going on inside. Least you can do is advise us you're running an hour late ! Punctuality is one of your discipline you preach but poor at demonstrating it.
A year later...we still haven't "moved forward", punctuality is a major issue on grading days, it shouldn't be difficult to communicate to parents that they'll overun significantly, already 30 minutes late today, waiting outside in the cold waiting for my son.
