Great club to train at! Great coaching and lots of class times available. Really great group of people to train with and clean facilities. Go check it out if in Chester.
A very welcoming BJJ Gym in Chester. Great instruction with an inspirational coach. Made good progress with a great team after a year at the club. Always look forward to every session.
Fantastic club, friendly, welcoming, inclusive, great coaching setup from kits to adults, whether looking to train for fitness, mental
health and confidence or to compete this team has it covered.
I’m truly in awe of the lads and lasses at Subworx BJJ Academy and the accolades they’ve achieved. Their success is a testament to the dedication, leadership, and unwavering support of Jon O’Marah, our head coach.
Come and join us and learn an incredible BJJ skill!
Started my 12 year old son at subworx 7/8 months ago and its made him progress massively in, technique, fitness and confidence. Also took my interest and now train regularly and couldn't recommend a better team to train with.
Making gi great again in Chester and saltney !
Subworx is an amazing club with huge potential, certainly very beginner friendly and accommodating to kids and adults for Brazilian jujitsu in chester & saltney.
I found the timetabling and locations difficult to manage due to not having my car here as there is also a lack of bus or public transport
however the clubs community is outstanding and on many occasions helped me out, to get me to saltney and back !
The club is more traditional and therefore follows a mostly gi (kimono) based culture of traditional Brazilian jujitsu (no-gi is still available for select classes) the club is upholding the traditional grading practices and respecting values, tradition and history which is something that is sometimes lost in our sport
Head coach Jonny is very approachable and is constantly and actively trying to build a safe environment for all to train! I would strongly recommend Tuesdays throws class , Saturday gi class at Hoole and of course no gi Fridays at saltney !
The gym is almost certainly worth a look, if you are looking for something new or a seasoned grappler , seriously something for everyone at Subworx bjj
