My son attended this camp for three weeks, and he had an amazing time. Hands down, this is one of the best summer camps we've ever experienced. My son can't wait to come back next summer, which is surprising because he usually doesn't enjoy any camp programs. I'm glad he had fun and learned valuable lessons in both sports and life. I really appreciate the coach's approach to teaching kids discipline.

I sent my little brother to this gym and Coach Carlos is a really good instructor. He’s really good when it comes down to teaching Jiu Jutsu and Muay Thai. My little brother has learned a lot since I sent him 7 months. He’s also learned a lot of manner from the coach.

Finding Arena Combat Sports has been a blessing to our family. From day one Coach Carlos has been a great support to motivate and encourage my teenage boy to work hard, be accountable, and dedicated to the sport. The classes are fun and everyone helps each other to improve there skill set. Thank you, ACS!

Coach Carlos has been a great teacher so far! I’m new to martial arts but coach does a good job of explaining the movements and helping me adjust my form. Every class I learn a little bit more and it’s been great for my cardio, mobility, and mind-body connection. The coach is receptive to my questions and concerns, which is important when engaging in such a tactile, contact-based, and potentially dangerous activity, especially as a woman in a male-dominated space. He also employs numerous TAs that are willing and able to help with your progress as well. Overall the morale of the environment is great, everyone is supportive of one another and welcoming of new comers. I believe this is a place where I can really learn and grow in martial arts, specifically Muay Thai and jiu jitsu. They also offer boxing and athletic conditioning classes. If you’re interested in a low-pressure/encouraging but challenging environment to learn self-defense, just have fun, or get in shape, this could be the place for you.

Honestly the best place in The area for beginners. I researched and tried them all, so let me spare you some time. You will get right into it at this Gym from day 1. Friendly and cheaper than most other options. Instructors are tough and nice. Great work out too

I've been attending this gym for almost a few months now and with both the friendly, uplifting environment and Carlos as well as Eduardo being excellent mentors, I've been able to instill solid confidence both in myself and in my developing technique of Muay Thai. It's an intensive workout that has seen me drop 15+ lbs since I started -- and as a first-time learner, I'm definitely glad I picked this as a go-to. Not only that, but as a resident in Gables, Little Havana is just a short trip away and very easy to get to with parking in the back. Would recommend and HAVE recommended this place to friends and family.

Very welcoming, great attention to whatever it is you're looking for in martial arts. Whether it be striking or grappling, Carlos knows his stuff and is great to train with. I'm into Brazilian jiu-jitsu and love to roll so you will always have a very experienced partner here. This place is very easy to find in Coral Gables and they actually have free parking in the back. I think my favorite thing about the place is the open-mindedness. There are many martial arts out there and some are very set in their ways. I feel like this place has a very Jeet Kun Do mentality. Awesome place to learn kickboxing in coral gables. As a complete beginner I was worried I would be intimidated and struggle to start, but the instructors cater to all levels and make the classes lots of fun.

Great gym, great people. I am new to the area and am a long time student of martial arts. Of all the places I visited in Miami, Arena Combat Sports is the only one that provides a safe and relaxed environment while instilling the discipline needed for both beginners and experienced students.

A great choice to workout your body and your soul. The Coach Carlos is very professional and every class leaves you wanting more technique, wanting to go back, a great team and super affordable, it is without doubt the best option around Coral Gables.

My son has been going to Arena Combat Sports in the Gables for over a year now and LOVES it! He was looking all around the Grove and the Gables for a place where he could box and get a good workout and FINALLY we happened to find this place while we were walking on Ponce de Leon. He's in a great mood when he gets home from working out........and for a teenager..... that says a lot! Carlos, the owner is warm and personable. I highly recommend this place!

My son attends the kids boxing and Ju jitsu class at ACS. When he first started he could barely land a blow, but now he has turned into a brawler. He loves the classes. I cant talk highly enough about coach Carlos truly an amazing individual. If you want to teach your child discipline and respect while having an enjoyable time. Look no further. you wont be sorry.

I've been going to this gym for about a year now, and I look forward to going every day! The coaches know what they're talking about and offer useful pointers to help us improve our technique. If you're looking to develop your skills as a fighter and get a great workout, this is the place! Unlike the huge, impersonal gyms, Arena Combat Sports is more like a personable and supportive community. I love it!

I really like this gym, since the first class. I moved recently to Coral Gables, and I was looking for a place to train Karate. I wanted to learn self defense and get in great shape. At Arena, everyday's training is different, so you can not get bored doing the same workout everytime, as it sometimes happen in other gym. We do bags, circuits, drills.. It is a very good way to learn or improve the boxing and kickboxing skills. And the cardio work is great! At first I was only boxing, but then I joined the kickboxing classes too, and I feel that I am learning a lot. I can see the difference when I train with other people, because my skills are getting really improved. The coach always move around during the class to help us get better. Moreover, everyday after class there is the possibility to light spar. I really like this because I can practice what I learned during class and I can improve my skills. The gym also offer BBJ classes and kickboxing classes for children.

Definitely worth checking out! I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding workout! I joined Arena Combat Sports just about two years ago at the suggestion of one of my closest friends. I was looking for a workout that constantly challenged me as I was tired of the same old cardio-core routine I couldn't seem to escape. The workouts are incredibly challenging both mentally and physically but you leave here feeling accomplished, invigorated, and physically exhausted. Carlos, the owner, does a fantastic job of making sure that each member receives a challenging workout regardless of skill level. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his trade and makes sure to attend every member - improving their form and technique. Since starting I have seen immense improvements in my body (leaned out), my mind (the sport teaches you to think and react quickly), and my skill level. It would be a lie to say I wasn't addicted. The gym is clean and well equipped and everyone that I've had the pleasure of meeting is super friendly and welcoming! Hands down BEST combat sports gym in the area!

I joined this gym about 2 years ago after being a member at a 24hr fitness for years. After trying it for a week, I was hooked! I decided I wanted to learn a useful skill while at the same time building muscle and staying lean. This gym has delivered all of the above. The trainers are very knowledgeable, and even though the gym is small, they manage to get everyone involved regardless of how many people there are. We do everything from weights, Kickboxing, plyometrics, MMA and endurance training. The trainers are attentive and are constantly motivating you and working with you to improve your technique. The price you pay is definitely worth it when you start seeing results. Not to mention the skills you learn can get you out of a sticky situation when you least expect it. The location in Coral Gables is very convenient and parking is easy to find. I would recommend it to anyone and eveyrone.
