Welcome to the top Jiu Jitsu and MMA team in the Fort Drum and Watertown area!
Today was awesome! I had a fantastic time training with some really competitive folks. It was such a great experience overall. If you’re thinking about finding a gym or want to dive into Jujutsu, you should definitely check out Behring Jujutsu in the Jefferson area. They’re offering the first week for free, which is a perfect chance to give it a go!
Awesome place to train! You’re welcomed by everyone and made to feel right at home. Coach Jamie is suuuper knowledgeable and really focuses on each individual person.
Great high level instruction with super helpful and patient instructors. Super welcoming and I’d recommend anyone from a complete beginner to a seasoned competitor train here!
Great place for kids and adults to train no matter the skill level. Everyone is willing to help beginners and if your experienced there are plenty of high level competitors to push you to get better.
I have been training BJJ and MMA for over 20 years all over the world and had an amazing time training with the team here! Jamie runs a great program for all skill levels from kids through adults! Every time I come to Ft.Drum, I am always sure to stop by and train. If you are in the Ft. Drum/Watertown area, be sure to check them out!!
Coaches have a great combination of talent, experience, and dedication. The schedule is accommodating, and there are always people looking to train off hours. It's a great environment.
The best gym around the Watertown area for anyone wanting to learn jujitsu or striking for self defense or competitive reasons. The gym is filled with awesome people that make everyone feel welcome no matter your skill level.
Outstanding and dedicated coaches. Their schedule is very compatible with military life and have trained there for over 2 years. It is one of the best gyms in the area.
Regardless of your reasons for training whether it be for self defense, a hobby, or to fight this is definitely the place to be. Jamie as well as the other instructors are all very knowledgeable and have years of experience under their belt. You won't find a better place in the area for striking, jiu jitsu, and MMA.
Excellent school for students of all skill levels. Exceptional coaches who have a wealth of information to share. A great place to develop your knowledge and abilities with so many wonderful people of all ages.
Behring Jiu Jitsu is a great place to train. From the moment you step in the door you are treated like family. I started as a mom of 3 who thought it looked like fun when taking my kids and am now a blue belt who goes to competitions with my teammates. I have made many friends who feel like family. They offer one week free and I strongly suggest everyone to give it a try.
Great coach’s amazing environment for new and experienced grapplers/fighters with a amazing head coach who really helps you learn and will make sure you improve overall as a new or experienced grappler/fighter
Knowledgeable coaches. Lots to learn bot striking and grappling depending on your interests. Great for fun fitness or self defense. Highly skilled and competitive team.
Was in Watertown for contract work and found Behring BJJ after visiting a couple different gyms. I found myself liking this gym’s teaching style and overall environment more calm and straightforward compared to other gyms in the area. Carlos, a purple belt, taught a class of around 10 students, and all the drills were well explained. We were given enough time to get comfortable with each drill before moving onto the next. We rolled for six rounds and I got to roll with pretty much everyone there.
Great atmosphere for anybody wanting a BJJ gym to train at. Would love to come back if I’m ever in the area!
Oss
Great gym! Was around the area for work with my brother , and we got to join a free class for the first visit. They’re very welcoming and professional. The coaches and students were very respectful. We visited another gym in the area, and Behring bjj seemed a lot better. Definitely recommend this gym if you’re in the area!
Through life it can’t be stressed enough that you should at the very least know how to defend yourself. Very good atmosphere and enable beginners like myself to go slow and learn. Highly recommend and it’s the best workout you’re ever gonna get. 👍🏻👍🏼👍👍🏾👍🏿
Incredibly friendly and supportive place. I am disabled and overweight, there is no judgement, no ego, just support and friendly smiles. I'm starting classes next week and can't wait to see where the BJJ Journey takes me.
By far the best place in the area. We tried a few other places before finding this place. From the moment my kids stepped foot in they were treated like the had always been there. Coach Mosley is very involved with the kids classes that he teaches and goes above and beyond with ensuring they understand what they are learning. This will be one of the few things that we will greatly miss when we PCS.
I don’t know man. It was an okay place to train. I felt like I never learned the fundamentals there, was just kinda was thrown into the mix to figure it out and when I told one of the professors there I trained under the legendary ADCC hall of famer Baret Yoshida in San Diego, he had no idea who he was. That was a huge red flag in itself. I since then moved to Florida and train at Valente Brothers jiu jitsu.
