Came in for my free trial and I’ve basically lived here ever since. Coaches Dylan, Pete, and Joey have been motivating, encouraging, and very welcoming. I love the atmosphere and the work ethic. OSU!

Stellar gym with great instructors and a lot of mat space. There were a lot of white belts but the instructor was still able to make time for everyone. They let you roll as well after instructionals so that's a plus. The place is huge with showers and changing rooms for men and women. Very nice place and it was a pleasure to work with them.

I have to start by saying I’ve never been to American Top Team Waterdown, but I had the pleasure of meeting and learning from one of your instructors, Professor Paul Elliot. He was up in Toronto doing a seminar. What a treat it was to learn from him! His instruction was very simple and clear. He has a passion for the Art of BJJ and is always keen to help newer people like myself. His seminar on shoulder control was excellent and I plan to implement it in my practice. In addition to that, he’s such a cool guy. We got to chatting at the gym the night before the seminar and he was telling me all kinds of stuff that I’ve taken back to “the lab” to work on. Specifically, he addressed neck control and astounded my White Belt brain with what I could do if I mastered neck control. Thanks for your knowledge Professor, I hope you had a good time visiting 🇨🇦

I’ve been cross-training at ATT Watertown every summer for three years now, and have had an amazing experience there. All of the coaches are experienced, skilled, and are good people; welcoming anyone who walk through their doors. One of the things I loved about training at ATT Watertown was their detailed instruction. From Muay Thai to Jiu Jitsu, the details of the technique were strategic, making the curriculum exceptional. The coaches also gave great feedback and pushed you to never give up. Ultimately, their instruction improved my Jiu Jitsu and striking, and helped me understand both, better. I’m so glad I found ATT Watertown and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is looking to get into Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, or Muay Thai, or would like to cross-train.

I had a great experience at this gym! The facility is clean and well-maintained, creating a great environment for training. Dylan was incredibly knowledgeable, providing clear instructions and helpful feedback throughout the session. He truly knows his stuff and makes you feel comfortable regardless of your skill level. I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area looking to train—whether you’re a beginner or an experienced fighter, you’ll feel right at home here!

I visited American Top Team and had a great two days of training. I showed up 15 minutes early during their Muy Thai class of 50 plus people on the mat and one of the instructor stepped aside and introduced himself. I trained both Gi and no Gi on my visit and enjoyed a welcoming environment both days. If you’re in Watertown and looking for BJJ look no further.

Came to Fort Drum, from Ohio, for some training. While in the area I wanted to get some training in. American Top Team Watertown welcomed me with open arms and treated me like one of their own. Class was a great pace, broken down nicely and instructors were open to questions. Definitely hit them up if you’re in the area wanting to get some rolls in.

I recently joined a cardio kickboxing and strength training program at this gym, and I must say it has been a truly transformative experience. The combination of high-energy cardio kickboxing routines and muscle-building strength training sessions has not only improved my physical fitness but also boosted my confidence and mental well-being. The cardio kickboxing classes are exhilarating and dynamic, providing a full-body workout that gets my heart pumping and leaves me feeling energized. The fast-paced movements, kicks, and punches not only help me burn calories but also improve my agility, coordination, and endurance. The instructors lead the sessions with passion and enthusiasm, motivating us to push our limits and unleash our inner strength. When it comes to the strength training sessions, I am impressed by the dedication and expertise of the coaches. They have designed challenging yet effective workouts that target different muscle groups and help me build strength and tone my body. The coaches pay close attention to proper form and technique, ensuring that we perform each exercise safely. Overall, my experience with cardio kickboxing and strength training has been incredibly rewarding, thanks to the dedicated and inspiring coaches who go above and beyond to help us reach our fitness goals. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to challenge themselves, improve their physical fitness, and be part of a welcoming community that celebrates progress and hard work.

My 10 and 7 year old started here a year ago and it has been the best decision as a parent. Getting my kids involved in martial arts has allowed them to learn skills to last a lifetime and it inspired us as parents to also join. Their little ninjas class as well as the adult classes are beginner friendly. Coaches are amazing, the atmosphere is supportive, and the facility Is Clean and well organized.

The gym is great, the coaches: extremely knowledgeable, helpful, clear, and concise. From my own experience, the Muay Thai fundamental classes with Coach Dylan were the most helpful. PS: he is not holding me hostage as I type this review.

I had the amazing opportunity of starting my Jiu-jitsu learning under the coaches here. Words cannot fully describe the safe and vibrant energy that comes from this gym. A learning environment has been cultivated so that anyone of all skill levels can improve. I started and finished here as a white belt and I was able to earn a few stripes. The coaches had always offered to explain the nuance of techniques that would be applicable to those of more experience. I fully recommend at least trying the free class that is offered for first timers. Thank you everyone for an awesome 6 months!

We love ATT Watertown for our entire family! We have 5 kids and all have participated in classes from little ninjas, teen ninjas, adult classes and private lessons. The coaching staff is by far phenomenal while the management staff clearly wants to see all of its members grow and succeed by bringing world class instructors for training seminars. You won’t find another gym in the area with as many class offerings, qualified staff and opportunities to succeed and progress on your athletic, physical, mental and health goals! OSU ATT Watertown!

My family was introduced to the gym and staff when my wife and I were looking for an outlet for our kids. We were really impressed with the ability of the coaches to keep the “Little Ninjas” class both fun AND engaging for the kids. I loved to see their confidence and ability grow with every class that they went to. This year, they were able to move up to the adult class, also giving me the chance to attend. The coaching staff are great at what they do. Very patient, yet still driving growth and success through positivity. The class members have been nothing but supportive. In my mind that also speaks to the quality of instruction. It has rapidly gone from my favorite night of the week to favorite NIGHTS of the week. If you are new to the area, new to the sport, new to whatever, this is a great place to get started. Have a little too much energy? Burn it off here. Not enough energy? Come on in, they’ll get you where you want to be. Don’t worry about your schedule either. They’re more than willing to work with you on time and availability.

I was visiting the area for a few days and brought my Gi, as I normally do. A quick Google search of "BJJ gyms near me", led me to American Top Team watertown. This place was very welcoming and had a great vibe. Huge mat space and an easy going crew, made my drop in a fun experience. I would gladly drop in again, next time I'm in town. Thanks ATT!

When I first started here I was very nervous, as a lot of people might be, but I instantly felt welcomed. Between the staff and the other members I felt comfortable and eager to learn. Everyone is very helpful and supportive. They offer multiple different classes, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking to get in shape, learn technique, compete, or even looking to add something healthy and productive to your life.

My son has been training at this Martial Arts school for about a year now, there is no competition to this school! The instructors are patient with kids and Marc Stevens is the discipline hand that the kids look up too. Yes it has a year contract and yes it can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. My son has not been bullied this year because of the techniques taught by this amazing school. Jiu Jitsu nation also has this program where you recruit other people to join and you receive that month free! It is a horrible shame that our family has to move and leave this amazing school behind. We will miss you guys and we appreciate the skills you have given my son Darnell.
