I joined Kobukai because I have balance and joint mobility issues and I wanted to learn to fall better. The classes are friendly and energetic with lots of movement practice and partner sparring to perfect technique and execution. Despite my difficulties in doing rolls initially, Master Jak took time to provide one on one to instill courage needed to willfully flip myself. A great mind over matter sport.

I've been training with Sensei Jak for nearly 14 years (first in East Hartford and then in South Windsor). He is a thorough instructor with a deep knowledge of jujitsu and violence. Come watch and try a free class! You won't regret it, and you'll be better for it.
