I started training at a gym in Texas and was sad to leave. It took about 4 years to find a gym I felt comfortable with. This gym has a great coach and dedicated members. I finally found a gym with no egos and genuine people. Will continue to train here as long as I can.
Great gym for MMA and Jiu Jitsu! Anthony is a great instructor who has a ton of experience. He also makes it super fun and informative. Gym is very clean and an amazing space! Check it out, you won’t be sorry!
My boys and I joined Sharkbait’s at the beginning of August. The environment for them to learn has been great. Not only have they had the opportunity to continue building self confidence, discipline, problem solving, and an amazing mix of martial arts, they have gained a community of friends. The learning environment for children and adults has been great. Coach Anthony and the other coaches have given nothing but constant feedback and encouragement. I would (and have) recommend Sharkbait’s to any of my family and friend’s children that are looking to help their children grow. I’d also recommend it to any adult that is ready to take on the challenge and learn the beautiful art of Jiu-Jitsu. Thanks for being a real community gym!
The Sharkbaits experience is fun and challenging for my daughter. She is making life-long friends while learning a great martial arts system. The instructors and the owner of the school are top-notch, experienced individuals in the art of MMA and jiu jitsu. My daughter enjoys the balance of training, sparring, warm-up exercises, competitions, and games, all of which help the students achieve their goals.
This place is clean and organized and new! Instructors take the time to work with you and are very hands on. Smaller classes right now but definitely a place I would highly recommend.
My son has been training here for about a month. Great instructors and a great environment. So glad this location opened up in the Northland. If you are new to Jiu Jitsu or have experience, this is a great place to start or continue your training. The kids program has been fantastic! Highly recommend.
Instructors are clearly very high skill level but have great patience regardless of the students prior training. Happy to have an academy in this portion of the northland.
